Long post that I hope will amuse you coming soon.
Edit: So, we have this... acquaintance (I mean, we hang out ALL THE TIME, but this guy is a huge a-hole) who has no real social skills. He can be nice and funny, but he just can't contain the hatred for all things that's bubbling just beneath his surface.
So, a little background: this is the guy who insisted on having the "Why can't I have a plus one at your wedding?" conversation at dinner one night with people who weren't invited and were apparently a little hurt about it AND THEN put down my exroommate who I intentionally did not invite as his plus one. Then AT OUR WEDDING (which was apparently the first Bama-LSU game?) told us he was leaving early because we picked the absolute worst day to get married (for some Notre Dame game... he didn't even get in to ND). Whatever. You're a wang, and I'm married. Enjoy sitting at a bar alone while we dance for three more hours.
Even before that, he actually invited himself to the wedding of one of my friends. Like, cornered her at a party and said, "Hey, I never got your invite! You must have sent it to my old address -- I can't wait to come!" So, friend, feeling trapped and kind of guilty, just played along and let him think that was the case, because it was just one guy.
Fast foward to now, and this friend has had a baby. Like most new moms, she posts a lot of pictures of said baby on facebook. One day, a-hole friend asks me, point blank, "Will you PLEASE talk to Ashley and tell her to stop posting f-ing pictures of that baby all over facebook? I mean, I'm about to unfriend her!" Even going so far as to say that posting pictures of her kid on fb is worse than bringing her kid to a bar to watch a football game.
So yesterday, friend changes her picture to one of herself, and a-hole guy tags her in a post thanking God that she's finally gone away from posting pics of her kid, and includes a really irrational tirade.
So I make a lighthearted comment about tagging him in our first ultrasound pics (when they happen), H comments that if the worst thing this girl has done to him is post pictures of her kid, then he seriously needs to chill, and another friend asks him what the big effing deal is. A few other people comment (including the husband of my friend) that he's really being an ass.
So he goes on another tirade about how he's really just happy that friend has "Found her identity" and why are we all jumping on him (we didn't) and wah wah wah Internet.
And then he unfriended all of us.
It is serious high school over here, y'all.
