    That is really pretty!

But you are going to wear a tiara like Kate, right?!?!  Your fiance is from England afterall.

  • Alright ladies, I think I'm going to call it a night.
  • Goodnight, strlz.

Poke, it's pretty, and I agree, it does not look Kate-inspired at all.  Your FI is royalty, though, right?  I thought all English people were Lord something or other.  ;)
  • Night Strlz.

    No effing tiara -.- haha.

Yeah - I don't even know what I'm going to wear in my hair at this point. I have a veil that was supposedly new but it's all effed up. I didn't spend much on it and I bought it from someone on TK. At this point I might not even have a veil. Ugh.

  • He sure acts like it sometimes Mica. But you can be nobility. I believe they occasionally auction off titles.
  • poke - pretty dress.

Okay is it a full moon.  There is a chick on Moms and maid who CRIED that her 17 year old FSIL was going to get a hair cut and now her hair won't be in curls.  Do people really cry over stuff like BM's hair?

Poke, your dress is so pretty!!

They might be able to get you your ideal veil in time.

Otherwise, who needs a veil?  I had one, but I needed something to cover my shoulders for the church.  Otherwise, I might have skipped it.
  • After all this time on TK, Lynda, do you really have to wonder if brides cry over BM hair?
  • Thanks guys : D I bought it like two years ago (in my defense - we pushed back our date) and I still love it.

Tell him to stop being cranky Angel. Are you guys getting along better today?

Lynda - I cry about my little sisters eyebrows. They are seriously bushy. But it has nothing to do with her being a BM. It has something to do with how it looks like she's got two fuzzy caterpillars on her face x.x

<div>Thanks Mica! I might skip it - it's not like my dress needs any embellishment or anything. I love the look of a veil with a sleek and simple dress, but mine has lace AND beading so I think it could stand alone. My mom would have a total fit though.</div>

    I literally LOL'd at this.

What type of veil are you looking for?  I had a very simple (toulle only) cathedeal length veil from Etsy.  It was like $30.  I also used a small hairpiece as well.  How are you wearing your hair?

  • Hi Barbie!

Okay, kids, I'm off to bed.  Well, not really bed, but H and I are going to watch Dexter for a bit.

    Good night!
  • Barbie, I know the feeling. I left the library early because my brain took a break long before I wanted it to.

Ehh, We were, but since I'm again in a crappy mood after that fight with my sister, he's already getting annoyed with me, even though tonight I haven't been mean to him. I think we'll be okay. As soon as I digest my Wawa tuna wrap, I'm making a drink... I need it :)

And Eagles, thanks! I hope my wedding is indeed awesome. Btw, I think the girl I'm working with is Tori.. it was bugging me that I couldn't remember her name.

<div>I don't even know what kind of veil I want. One that's not effed up I guess. Actually, I do know that I want a shorter one - fingertip length at most. But not bird cage - that didn't look good when I tried it on. And I don't know exactly how I'm going to be wearing my hair - I just know it's going to be an updo because of all the buttons on the back of my dress. I want to show them : )</div>

  • I've had a headache for most of the evening - and I'm sure the Bourbon Crush Punch isn't helping anything.
  • Hey ya'll. I've only read the first page but eeesh. Angel, that kind of ish is why I am glad I only have two younger brothers and only male cousins. I used to get really irritated by them when I was in HS. But now we never ever fight and mostly are really good friends. Brothers are awesome like that.

  • Aryn- I am usually really good about not procrastinating, but this semester was horrible so I ended up having to get a whole semesters worth of work for one of my classes done in a week. I did it, but it sure did suck!

Lynda - I don't ever want to move anywhere that doesn't have a Wawa ;)

And Musu - Yeah, having sisters sucks sometimes. People have always told me I'll be so glad to have them when I'm older, but we'll see if that day comes, haha.

I'm seriously still shaking from it, I haven't gotten that angry at anyone in a long time.

  • Barbie, your professors didn't give you an extension? And and entire semester in one week? Girl, you deserve a serious spa day.
  • I'm sitting here laughing at Chef.  He has a bunch of toys/bones that he didn't really care about.  Completely ignores them.

Now that Sadie is expressing an interest they are now his favorites.  Funny how that works.   He's not aggressive about it, just when Sadie puts it down for a minute he is all over them.

    Silly dog.

What exactly was wrong with the other veil?  Was it just made incorrectly?  Personally I like really plain veils because it lets the dress be the main focus and doesn't compete with it.

I had an updo and wore a veil for the ceremony only.  I also used a small hairpiece that was in the whole day but it added just an extra bit of bling without being over the top.  The veil sat right above the curls and then slipped out really easily after the ceremony.
