I'm finally getting settled back after our weekend away.  The kids were wonderful and I even enjoyed MIL.  Most importantly Megan got to meet her great-granparents.  G-G-ma couldn't have been more happy with these two.  I've got a bundle of pics to send that shouldn make her day too.

Yesterday my mom and I met and put together a plan to re-use the baptism gown from MIL and still get what I was wanting.  I also managed to snag 2 new dresses and 2 blouses! 

Now back to reality- a cold rainy day, laundry, and a sick kid (6let).  The other kid gets 2 month shots Thursday.  Boooo

    Good morning. 

    Both kids are on my last nerve right now.  DefConn has been super-duper fussy and is back to crying at every diaper change.  I don't get it.  He screamed at DH and I for a solid hour last night before passing out on me for a couple hours and then got up and did it again.  And then he woke up screaming at 5-ish.  Thank goodness he went back to sleep almost immediately.

    The kiddo is burnt out on school. Getting him to do homework and do it right is the bane of my existence.  He's more concerned about going out to play with his friends and his little neighborhood GF.  He also needs to be reminded/told to do everything 10 times and I'm over it.   DH and I need to come up with consequences for him because it's the only way he's ever going to learn and/or remember to do what he's supposed to. 

    And DH wants to have the sechs and I'm just not there yet.   It's in my head, I know it.  I need to get over the hump and just do it with him.

    Goood morning.  I'm just getting to my coffee now - I have a feeling I'm going to need it today.


    My dad should be getting out of the hospital today, so that's awesome.

    Yay for papa Arb.

    H was pissy last night, and I didn't even get into it with him.  Just an overall attitude that made me want to jointly shake and slap him.  But I let him be, if he wants to be sour, I want no part of it.  I'm sure it's not related to me, otherwise he would've said so.

    I hope I don't regret sleeping in this morning....wait....nope....nope I don't.  I'll just crockpot it up and run tonight...wheeeee!

    morning! It's rainy and blah but I got a full night's sleep, so that makes it better. (ethan randomly wakes up at 3:30am a couple nights a week- not last night, yay)

    Mrs Conn- probably a dumb question, but have you tried gas drops? That's how Ethan acts when his tummy hurts.

    ~yawn~ morning.

    I'm wiped out. M, who had been sleepnig through the night, is no longer sleeping through the night. The last 3 nights she's been up around 3am. She won this time - 3-4am in her room. She was sound asleep, I put her in the crib. 15 minutes later she was awake and crying. She and I went out to the couch until my alarm went off at 6am.

    Work is killing me. We're dealing with a major PR issue and a lot of backlash on a decision the BOD made. And it's just insane in general with how busy I am now that I've got 7 bosses instead of just the one.

    Morning!

    I took my 1st dose of Clomid for this IUI last night.  I forgot what fun the side effects can be since I haven't done a medicated cycle in about a year.  I've got lovely post nasal drip & a blazing headache.

    The 10 day forecast is 55 & pouring rain; we actually had a frost warning last night.  When the eff am I going to be able to transplant my veggies into the garden without them a) washing away or b) freezing to death?
