My Mexican husband has developed a serious appreciation for blue grass country. Who knew? It's blaring from the living room downstairs

I don't think I've ever heard it. I spent 2 years living in KY.

Edit: I just youtubed it. I may be crazy, but I can see how someone might like it. Music you square dance to. Ranchero music on the other hand. Nuh uh.

I can't get over all the Mexican stations on the radio here. They always sound so happy and polka-y, I could listen all day. Phil, not so much. Or blue grass, for that matter.

Something else random. When I was in the 4th grade, we had a class where we learned to square dance. For a grade. I loved it. Do not ask what year that was.

We did square dancing in gym one year too! Maybe 3rd or 4th grade. I wasn't the best at it. But it was fun

I think we always did square dance at least one semester a year all through elem. and jr. high school. I got my first boyfriend in 7th grade when he picked me as his partner. We went out for a whole 6 days. It was lovely...
