DH works construction with his father. They build spec homes, but with the market lately they've been doing mostly odd painting jobs. :P He also does additoinal tile jobs and music coaching on the side.

I work part time in a podiatrist's office. Typically it's filing and data entry. But I'm covering the reception desk more frequently now, and may move there permanently at the end of the summer. (Basically, that means I'm doing two jobs at once and trying not to lose my head. ;) This month I've gone from 24 hours a week to between 35 and 40 hours over four days.)

I am currently in a 2 semester student teaching program for elementary school and I start my second rotation at the end of this month. So, I'm currently unemployed :/ I may be able to get a job with the after school science program at the school I'll be teaching at. I finish this December and hopefully I can substitute teach for the remainder of the school year.

My fiance will be getting his BA in English Education (High School) this December and working on his credential ater that. He'll be student teaching high school English in August 2012. He is only student teaching for 1 semester, though. He currently works as an in-home tutor and is working on getting a second job at IKEA.

FI and I are both students.
I'm currently working on my Masters in Early Childhood and Special Education. I start my full time internship in less than two weeks. I'm also the student manager at a copy center on campus.
FI is getting a degree in Graphic Design. Right now he's working landscape and hopefully they'll let him stay on and just work weekends during the school year.

I am a business analyst for a financial services company.  I really need a change though - it's not me.

DH works for a publishing company in their warehouse.  Since people are moving from reading real books to reading on E-readers, he feels that the business will fizzle out and he will be looking for a job.  We'll see.  He does that job so that he has regular M-F hours and can work nights and weekends for a minor league baseball team in their creative productions department (he runs video camera during the games).  Thankfully that is only in the summer (well, April through part of September).

He is stationed at Ft. Rucker in Alabama right now.  He actually just finished flight school!!  His next duty station is up here in Alaska at Ft. Wainwright :)

And he's not my husband YET! lol We're actually going to have to change our date because there hasn't been much planning going on.  He wants to be more involved so we're waiting until he's up here :)

But that's awesome about your brother!  Does he like it??

i just graduated from bible college in may, but right now i'm working part time at a maternity store and part time at a lingerie store. neither of them are giving me enough hours, so that stinks but it works for now.
DH works as a youth/music intern at our church, and part time as a host at olive garden. he's also going back to school in the fall so that'll be weird for me to be here all alone when i'm not working!

FI is currently working at Best Buy. He graduated Summer of 2010 with his degree in Political Science.

As we speak, he's at a job interview with a financial corporation. He really wants to be a teacher but there's so few opportunities.

I am a student studying to become a teacher!
