    Man, I was busy at work this week so I feel like I missed out on most of the crazy posts. However, I'd like to jump on the flame for owningahome thinking it's ok to just thank her guests with a note in the program. If I remember correctly, she's doing a black tie affair as well. If I'm paying that much for a gift and my attire, I better get an in person thank you and a handshake at the least.

    Is this some kind of warning? Because its been posted in several threads where people are flamed for things, but the TOS doesn't seem all that different to me...

    And I second flaming one's self for arguing with NYU about stepparent issues. But she makes me ragey and/or stabby every.single.time she pipes up about something,

    So we're not allowed to call people out for being wrong anymore? You guys realize that people completely and utterly overreact on these boards and say we're bullying because we're pointing out things they're doing wrong that will negatively affect their guests, right?

    I think we need some sort of test here about Internet cojones and if they fail, they get shuttled to Weddingbee. I can't handle all of this touchy-feely madness.

    I can't seem to find the thread. (I'm grateful for the kind person who finds it.) But, I flame the FBIL who demanded that his kids should be invited to a wedding even though the bride and groom have made it clear that they wanted adult guests.

    The host/hostess have every right to invite anyone he/she desires (plus their significant others). For some weddings, the guest list may include children and adults. And for other weddings, it may be just for adults only.

    I don't have kids, but a lot of my family and friends have children. Because of this, there are times when I wasn't invited to a kid's birthday party even though I'm close with the parents. I'm okay with this.
