Did you hear about that move, don't remember the name, where they videotape the beating and raping of this girl for days? And then she escapes and goes back to kill them? Like seriously... who enjoys watching that kind of sh!t?!? I just don't get it! I wanted to cry and vomit when I heard of it.

I don't know if it's the same one but I watched The Last House on the Left and there was one scene that was AWFUL! It was so long and drawn out that we fast forwarded through it. It was so unnecessary and it pissed me off soooo much.

I've never seen the movie but I've heard that it doesn't do the book justice. Have you read Stephen King before? He's a little out there but he is such a good writer. When I finished the book I felt like I was missing something, because I got sooo involved in the book and the characters.

I first watched the movie when I was only 12 maybe- SCARY!!!

I have a lot of Stephen King books but haven't gotten around to reading them yet, they're from my parents. I have a shelf full of books that I need to read!

Speaking of Stephen King- my FI and I are going to stop by and see his house in Bangor, Maine on our honeymoon!

  • Aquatic vegetation.

Probably not a true phobia, but basically any aquatic vegetation that is found in a body of water.  I just cannot swim over it or let it touch me at all.  If I had waders on that's kind of OK.  Good thing because I work with rivers!
  • Earthquakes.  It's paralyzing at times.  I live under a flight path and the airport is litterally mins. away so when the air pressure is low it sounds like we're having an earthquake but this phobia only affects me when I'm home alone.
We've had 4 of them in the past 2 years now and I was home alone for 3 of them, 2 of them were bad enough to cause alot fo structural damage to many of the buildings across the city so they were big enough quakes.
I always freeze in place when I think we're having one and look for something that has liquid in it to see if it's moving or anything that would rattle.

I live in Ottawa, ON.  We're not far from a fault line.  Apparently we get them ALL the time but they are never big enough to notice, until these past 2 years.
It seems like we get a 'really big one" every 5 years or so, but lately it's been more often.

  • My dad has the fear of peant butter sticking to the roof of his mouth.  It sounds weird but he has not had peanut butter since he was a little kid.

I have a fear of the dark and possums.  When I was a junior in high school my grandma passed away. Her funeral service was over Labor Day weekend.  The next weekend we went to see a movie with my aunts and someone had the great idea to go see The Sixth Sense.  I have been afraid of the dark ever since.  I am afraid of possums because we had them in our house a couple of times.  I was out of high school at the time, but it still scared the crap out of me.  I was standing on my bed trying to scream but no sound was coming out.  Then I finally was able to make somewhat of a loud enough sound for someone to come to my rescue.
