Nope....we were just talking about this yesterday though.

We want to pick an older song that will be totally unexpected by our guests. I was thinking of asking our grandmothers what song they danced to at their wedding to see if any had meaning to us.

We were also thinking of picking a Frank Sinatra song or something similar.

I go back and forth all the time. I give FI a couple songs and he lets me know what he thinks. We're down to "Someone like you" by Van Morrison, "Make you feel my love" by Adele, and "Wonderful tonight" by Eric Clapton

We've decided on Cross My Heart-George Strait. We both love that song...we both love lots of older country songs. So it could change...but we are pretty settled with that one.

I am working with my DJ to do a mashup of You Are The Best Thing by Ray LaMontagne, The Way I Am by Ingrid Michaelson, and Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Callait. I'm hoping it sounds ok, and if not, we will just use You Are The Best Thing.

Torn between "God Gave Me You" - Blake Shelton or "Make You Feel My Love" - Adele.

FI proposed while "God Gave Me You" was playing. So that song has special meaning to us and will be played at some time during the rection if not for our first dance. I love Adele and her cover of "Make You Feel My Love" is gorgeous and bit slower than the other song.

We havent yet- but we met and are livng in TX but we're getting married in my home-state of WI so we're toying with the idea of doing a TX two-step up north to "bring a little TX to our wedding" but we'll see ... a lot of the songs we like you can't two step to lol
