Evening everyone. What's everyone up to? I'm counting down until the end of my shift. This is the job I usually only work 4 hours per week, but now that it's summer I'm back to full time. I forgot how much I hated it. I also don't feel well, which isn't helping. I'm going to bed as soon as I get home I think.

Hey! I just got done with training and am chilling out in the nice weather til its time to pick up h. I love carpooling with him. Plus it'll be a good night because we're eating 'skinny sloppy Joe's ' and I love having dinner already ready when we get home!

Hola. We just finished dinner. I made this Waldorf salad and it was delicious. And super quick/easy to make too! nom nom I kind of want more, but I'm already full. ha

I was trying to find something to do with my ground turkey this week. Maybe I'll do sloppy joes!

It's absolutely gorgeous out right now- 72 and breezy; no humidity. Basically, my ideal weather.

Chels- I just read your blog again and you look great! Im glad you did the first pic comparison, I was going to suggest that to you before. Last time I kept having to go back to your first page to see the progress, lol.

I just got home a little while ago from dinner out with my FI and a friend of ours. They bitched abut law (FI just graduated law school, friend is starting her final year), we talked about sex, it was a fun dinner. The place is a rooftop bar and grill, which I'm going to have to go to for lunch one day after my fieldwork.

So I decided to be lazy about dinner tonight and I am currently awaiting my Donino's pizza delivery of a gluten free pizza. I can't believe they have GF crust. This is amazing and hopefully tasty. I'm so pumped I can hardly stand it!

Other than that I'm watching Hell's Kitchen and loving it. I get a kick out of the idiots on this show. You'd think after 10 seasons that these chefs would know better than to show up for the show without knowing how to prepare risotto, scallops, and wellington.

Sere- she'll post the same recipe like 4-5 times in a row, to different boards. Understandable, I guess, but then my homepage gets loaded up with like 3 different recipes. I'm easily annoyed on pinterest though

Tickers are stupid in general. The only reason I have the baby one is so people here and TB don't go "WHEN ARE YOU DUE?!" or "HOW FAR ARE YOU?!" with every damn post.

I think I had a wedding one for awhile too, but it was also lame.

I get having a wedding one since this is, ya know...a wedding forum. And it saves people from having to answer when their wedding is all the time if they ask WR questions. And I get the pregnancy tickers for the same reason. But don't get random tickers for vacation, graduation, bowel movements, etc.

I think they're fun for the countdown effect. I've loved watching mine go from 12 to 0. I think it's weird to use tickers just to remember when things are though.

FI and I had the experience from hell at Men's Warehouse tonight. We are getting the GMs/dad tux through there and he got a $450 credit toward a suit since he wasn't renting one. The sales guy we had to deal with was soooo pushy. We just wanted the damn suit (which was $650 mind you..it's not like we weren't spending money). This guy wouldn't stop talking, kept pulling out outfits to go with the suit, for our honeymoon, etc. even after we made it abundantly clear that we weren't going to be purchasing anything else. And he made it sound like we were diiicks. Yes, I know you probably count on commission but get over it, we aren't buying anything. He kept saying "wow you are the only people who've ever actually came here just for a free suit". What part of we're getting married in 5 days do you not understand? He asked what FI did for a living at the beginning of the experience so I think he assumed we are more well-off than we are. Either way, he was just a rude asshole and we'll never be shopping there again.

Went for a run and watching hockey now

Hoping the Kings can win it tonight! Also I got Potbellys tonight because asshole took so long that it became impractical to go shopping and cook dinner and that was delicious. I love their coffee milkshakes.

Honestly, I don't see the big deal about having tickers. I have them instead of a sig pic, and they take up about the same amount of space. The Bar Exam one reminds me of when I get my FI back (he's taking it, not me). That's a big deal for us, since he's studying about 10 hours a day for it. Besides, it'll be up for about another month and a half, then disappear forever.
