We are going with tulip bulbs. I found a place online that sells bulbs in bulk. I just got a price quote for 100 white and 100 dark purple tulip bulbs.
It will take a little bit of work to put them in organza bags or some sort of tuile....but I super excited. Hope my two local bridesmaids are up to the challenge. My wedding date is 9/11/10 and the bulbs will arrive mid- to late-August.
Plus, any leftovers will be planted in my flower beds shortly after the wedding. Bonus for me!!!
