Okkk - So a year ago last Christmas, the bf proclaimed his everlasting love for me and that a proposal was imminent. Fast forward to December 2010 and still no ring!!! All of a sudden he calls me today and suprises me by telling me that hes taking me away for the weekend! (This upcoming weekend!)
Is this it???? Later he called me when he got home and was teasing me saying that my christmas present had arrived. I asked him teasingly what he got me (I asked for these amazing computer speakers, to play my Frank Sinatra music while cooking, obv) and he says "Ohhh, I don't think you know what I got you, its a little bit smaller than that."
I cant STAND the teasing!!! I know I should go into this weekend not expecting it because if I do, and he does not in fact pop the question I am going to be sooo disapointed.
Re: Is this it???????? I'm dying to know....AGHHH!
Enjoy that you get a wonderful weekend with the man you love. No matter what happens at the end, that's what truly counts.

Exactly. See, what do you need us for?
He may propose; he may not. Either way, you're in a relationship with a guy you love who wants to marry you someday. Things could be way worse.
I can, however, empathize with your situation.
[QUOTE]P.S. This is the first I've noticed someone with an account from the 90s.

I wonder if it's another case of the TK being wonky? It would be really strange to have had a TK account for 11 years and still be NEY.

Or MUD. But who knows.

If it's MUD, it's pretty unoriginal.
My bet in on TK being weird because I doubt this sit was around in 99.
I know it is hard, but try not to think about it so maybe you wont be as disappointed... GL though.
So my advice: go into this weekend without expecting anything (if possible) and have a great time no matter what! And best of luck if you do end up with the ring

hahaha FAIL.
Sorry, I'm KUI.
On a Wednesday night, because I'm cool like that.
P.S. A couple of months ago I had convinced myself that he was going to propose at this party and he didnt, it was awful bc I had gotten so worked up about it. I just dont let the excitement get to me anymore. It will come when it comes.

[QUOTE]Whenever someone says MUD, the song My Name is Mud by Primus plays in my head.

Evertime someone says MUD it reminds me of the nickname my Aunt used to call me, Minerva Mud. My screenname almost everywhere else is ManaurvaMudd. It's a good thing I didn't use that here. I wouldn't have been able to convince people I was real.

If I had been drinking anything, it would have gone all over my laptop after reading this.
MUD always remains me of mud pie. But the delicious ice cream kind, not the mud pie I made as a 3 year old.
EDIT: Yosef is spelled right, its our school mascots name and they like to throw it into ads instead of yourself.

YESSSSS!!!!!! IT IS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OBV.
And of course, everyone plays Sinatra while cooking. It would be sacrilege to play anything else. Can you imagine the horror?????

It's okay, I really dropped the ball here. I play punk music when I cook. All those years of burning and overcooking and general kitchen mishaps...finally, a solution!

Me too. In fact, almost every time I read or type it, i think...what a horrible abbreviation for your closest friends!
I have also never seen the necessity for adding "dear" or "darling" before your family member, eg, DH, DS, and DD. It just seems weird to me. Maybe b/c I'm cold hearted old married hag?

Hmmm... maybe it doesn't have to be so negative, though? It's like "my wedding party is the sh*t".
