    I love my Nook.  I actually had a Sony eReader first; and LOVED it, but they've changed the design to light the screen and all the new reviews online are negative.

    For me the Nook felt more durable; the Kindle's got what felt like a pretty flimsy plastic frame and I read a few reviews online about the frame breaking.  Plus I love the sharing feature (my dad and I share books frequently).  Also, I have experienced a LOT of new authors with the Nook, because they give you a free book every Friday, plus a bunch of free downloads when you're in the store.  From the sounds of this board you can't really go wrong though; seems like people like whichever they have...
