NYLO has a very modern feel, and neat looking rooms. I have not stayed there yet, but they look really cool. That's the only "not so well-known" hotel I know of.
Idk where you are planning your weddig, but there is a Hilton in Rockwall on the Harbor. I have always thought that would be a cool place to stay.

This is where we stayed also. We stayed Saturday-Monday night also. It was nice and quiet and the muffins from room service are very very yummy!!!
Hotel Palomar is where we are staying!! It is a beautiful hotel and conveinently located off 75 and Mockingbird..AMAZING....We booked with Allison Gray! Hope that helps
