To Wear or Not to Wear the E-Ring at the Bachelorette Party?

  • I don't really understand why you'd want to take it off? What would your Fi say? Are you planning on using your bachelorette party as an excuse to cheat?

  • FI would be suspicious if I took mine off for the Bachelorette Party.  He looked a little sideways when I took it off to go to the gym the first time but after I explained my hands swell and I'm worried the the weight bars will scratch it, he understood.  Plus, I'm a hot mess at the gym, he has nothing to worry about.  The B party though?  No way would any reasoning not come off as trying to hide something.

  • I didn't wear my e-ring for the last week before the wedding, including B-party. I just had it polished and wanted to keep it shiny for the wedding pictures. There was certainly nothing sneaky about it.

  • Ok thank you for your thoughts. I felt a little judged, just because I asked the question didn't mean I was completely considering not wearing it, as I had the same thoughts in terms of wearing the ring. I am proud of it and of being engaged. The comittment to my relationship was not in question here, or the fact that I considered myself single for a night and that I'd cheat. Just a simple ettiquet question. If this is how people react to others needing a little advice then I won't be posting for help again. I just asked for thoughts about the question not my integrity.
