    Oh, honey, I am so sorry to hear this. My dad is going through this again right now too so if you need to talk, I'm here--like literally, in town, and anything I can do just tell me. NIH and Johns Hopkins are here, so there are great resources. And we all, all us girls here, love you so much. We're here for you. We're praying for you and will BE here for you. :::HUGS:::

    They don't know the stage yet, but I know it's something to contend with. I've got appointments next week. I promise to keep you guys up to date.

    if you need them, i have taco bell coupons for being such a good customer.  i have one for all you can drink mountain dew that i was going to give to mom, but she's being a pain about keeping the basement clean.

    Ka-mate,

    I will be checking this board every day for updates.  There is no way that the big "C" can match the stregnth that is in you.  We both been on this board for longer than we care to admit and we are here for you, even if it's just a jolly distraction.  I feel sorry for the Cancer, it picked the wrong person to mess with.

    I'm so sorry Ww. I don't really come on this board a lot so I don't "know" you but I just wanted to let you know that I'll be thinking of you!!! You can absolutely get through this - it sucks a lot of the time but you can and will do it. Being someone who has had cancer is like some weird club that nobody wants to be a part of but you'll find amazing things happen throughout the journey. Hold onto those amazing moments when you're down. When you're on the other side and recovered you'll find that those are what you remember.

    Sorry if that sounds preachy I'm just trying to say that while cancer may consume your life for a little while there is life beyond it too.

    My Mom and I are both cancer survivors and I work for the American Cancer Society so I have a lot of experience with the big C. I effing hate it. If you need anything or just want to talk or vent or talk treatment or whatever I'm happy to be there! You can always PM me and we can exchange emails or something.

    I will be thinking of you and sending you good thoughts.

    I havent been around in a long time, but I wanted to add my T&P. My dad had cancer twice and my mom is in remission from ovarian cancer. Its amazing how far medicine has come in the past few years. Keep positive and fight that 'little bastard' (what my dad called cancer after his first diagnosis). T&P.

    Also, when you're ready google "Cancer Support Communities".  They're a national organization that has local chapters everywhere.  I can't say enough good things about them and what they've done for my friend A.   ::more hugs::
