So we went for our tasting last night. It was great but now we are conflicted about meal choices. I know essentially duets are for if you are not offering guests a meal choice. However my FI really enjoyed the Filet & lobster tail. Our wedding is in July so I'm thinking lobster would go nicely. But I also want to offer our guests another choice in case they are not beef or fish eaters.
Is it weird to offer a choice of Filet & lobster tail OR Chicken? Will people be like what a fancy beef offering but what about us non beef/fish eaters? I mean we can go with offering straight filet or chicken but like I said, FI really wants to do Filet & lobster tail and our venue will let us offer a duet and a regular entree.
Am I over-thinking this? Thoughts?
