Snarky Brides

Can women just be nice?

I have posted many things on here just simply asking for suggestions and so have many others. There is no need to be rude to people you do not know. You don't know there situation, there budget, or theit lifestyle. Why would you judge and tell them that everything they are doing is a bad idea? Let's be resonable ladies. Grow up and talk to each other like a adults. and for god sake... set a better example! Being a bully is NEVER ok.

  • I really don't understand why people think posting something like this on Snarky Board will get any where.

    Snark.
  • But really if someone post asking for advice then expect an answer. If you/they don't like the answer that isn't the advice givers problem.
  • Here's a tip:

If you want to be taken seriously, you should learn how to spell/use the correct spelling of the word you are using (ie. there/their/they're).

    :)

  • I can't believe I just read that thread.

I really can't believe she said people could eat before they came to her wedding if they don't like what she is serving.
Maybe it's just me but I never knew what was being served at a wedding before i went to the wedding. Unless I was very close friends to the bride or groom.

    Strange lady.
  • ....are you implying that I cannot be nice because I'm black?  Is that what you're saying?

    Racist.

  • You should probably not tell TK that guests who don't like your menu should eat before they come, and then get all annoyed that no one likes you.

  • I read the post and the only person I saw being rude was the op.. the wedding really is about your guests too and plenty of people have a small budget but still try to have a variety of foods to please all guests.

  • I don't know why the hell she keeps posting in red too.  Drives me nuts.
  • OMG, I haven't been able to get online all evening, and this is the first thing I've read. Most ridiculous thing ever!

Telling people that if they don't like hot dogs and hamburgers to eat before they come to the wedding? I think I may have heard it all now ...

But the people who took the time to answer were the rude ones??? Hmmm.

  • See. Bullies. I just asked if everyone could be nice.
That's all. Apparently it's too much to ask.
As for me being "rude'... that was a rant off a few private messages I received.
I apologize. <-- me being nice.

Traditionally, a woman who wears red to a wedding does so to signify that she's done the dirty with the groom.
