Re: tk confessions!ayg??

  • I love that there are entire threads devoted to judging people for fairly insignificant things, yet judging someone for playing with their period blood is somehow a problem. Wow.

[QUOTE]I don't believe there is any reason to be ashamed of having a period or pooping. Obviously everyone poops (I even have that book), and women have periods, but both are typically not sanitary and are waste. They are not meant to be handled, played with or otherwise used. If that was the case, your body would keep it rather than expelling it.

Ha, my H too and I'm so glad. I don't like hairy guy chests or backs or shoulders.

My brother is super hairy all over (and I know because he enjoys breaking out the speedo and mooning everyone to gross people out). If H was as hairy as him, I'd make him shave or wax. At least the stomach and chest.
  • I have no qualms with discussing periods, or even CM (especially for the women learning how to chart).  They are all natural things for women.  But like someone else said, I equate playing with your period blood to playing with your poop or urine.  Both are unsanitary and both are not normal to play with.  Whta she does in her own home is her business.  But let's be honest.  Most of our TMI threads are not that TMI.  Yeah they're more information than you'd share in general, but they rarely cross that TMI line of really truly being too much information.  What Nikki posted about the pleasures she gets out of her period functions was really TMI.  More than a lot of people would ever want to picture or know.

It does. And it's nasty to see it. I tried to grin and bear it. She had to wipe it down with salt to try to minimize the smell.
  • But how would you hold the baby? You'd hold the placenta too? That's just weird. I get not cutting it until it stops pulsating, but once the placenta has detached from the mother, it really can't supply anything else to the fetus. It dies. I have visions of some poor baby getting an infection from rotting flesh attached to it.
