    And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now.     I didn't see the post where this comment was made but I can understand how one could feel that way. I have made this same comment before, granted it was with coworkers who understood the situation and was not posted on the internet for everyone to see. Do I really mean it? No, not really. It was a gut reaction to a situation that I was in at the time. I have seen and cared for children in situations that are unimaginable and you are angry that this innocent child had to go through a situation like that. Maybe that was the case with her and why she said what she did. Again, I didn't see the post where this comment was made so I could be completely wrong about her reasoning behind the comment.

    Oh, and from the women getting sterilized thing, I've said that before too.  I think a lot of my feelings on it come from the field I work(ed) in.  Those kids have unimaginable pasts; a lot of the damage done by their parents is absolutely horrifying.  And yes, I firmly believe those people should NOT be allowed to reproduce again.

    Not TK related, but I can not stand when parents do not put their kids in car seats, or even in a seat belt. It's worse when they try to justify it by saying that the child didn't want to. You are the adult, they are the child. Make them sit in the car seat!

    I flame the girls over on Catholic brides for thinking OOT's sig reference to blue balls is offensive. I guess, in their defense, we did say that making a screenname naming yourself at the virgin mary was over the top, but it is hilarious all the same.
