About a year ago my mom's best friend moved to Texas but they stayed really close and my mom has gone to visit her many times. My mom just sent me a text saying that the past couple of weeks her best friend hasn't been talking to her and has been acting weird for the past couple of weeks. Then today she called and said she didn't want my mom to come down in August (they've been planning this trip since may) and she wouldn't tell my mom why. She said she sent my mom a letter in the mail to explain it I guess.
I can tell my mom is really upset by the whole situation and I want to do something since for her to cheer her up. Usually I would go shopping with her and get our nails done but since she's in Idaho and I'm in Colorado I'm not sure what I could do. Any suggestions?
Re: Need Some Suggestions!
Sorry her friend's being a jerk!
Personally, I fell in love with edible arrangements... the edible fruit flowers. Healthy sort of but you can get them dipped in chocolate!
A heartelt card goes further than any money spent on "stuff" though I think.

Aww, I'm sad for her. I totally agree with the edible arrangements idea - I always wanted someone to send me one of those....

They are soooo good. I got one from a friend of the family when my son was born and FI sent me a box of dipped fruit on Valentines Day from there!
But...edible arrangements sound like a wonderful idea!
