Re: Products you miss

  • We still have Tahiti Treat here. I always see it in a 12 pack of cans at the local grocery store. And DH's parents always have a case of it because SIL drinks it a lot. I see it in bottles every once in awhile.

  • OP: I loveddddddddd Koala Yummies!! Everyone I ask about these has no idea what I'm talking about. I loved the Strawberry. I actually saw them in Wegmans Asian food aisle about 3-4 years ago. I'll have to check if they still carry them.

Champagne Super: They made Captain Cruncc - All Berries!? I just had a bowl of the crunch with berries a week or so ago and was talking about how badly they need to make an "all berry" version. Wow, I missed out.

[QUOTE]Anyone remember Rax Roast Beef fast food restaurant? The kids meal drink was in this alligator sippy cup thing.  I loved that place.

Rax was the best.  Didn't they also have a salad bar?

Salad bars in general.  Now I can only ever seem to find them at Ruby Tuesday's.

What I'm really missing lately, and have been for the last few years, are the twist cones you used to be able to get in the '80s and '90s.  Nobody has twist ice cream anymore, and it makes me sad.
  • I just popped back in, only to learn that Tahitian Treat still exists out there. And not here. You have no idea how sad this makes me. :(
  • I really feel like I had B&J's Vermonty Python recently...  well, in the past few years.  Their website will list which flavors are still in rotation and which are in the flavor graveyard.  Like Rainforest Crunch...  mmmm...

I miss Team Cheerios, too!  And the original Pudding Pops.  They re-released them a couple of years ago, but it is a different recipe and they are so not the same as the original ones from the '80's.
  • Planters used to make cheese puffs...they were the most amazing thing ever. And now they're gone :(
  • I used to love Koala Yummies.

They closed down all the Cattle Company restaurants in my state a few years ago.  I was so mad, because that place had the best prime rib EVAR.

McDs pizza was one of the most delicious things ever, I do believe the boxes at the time were too big for the drive through window though. Wendys had pitas for a while and their chicken cesar was to die for. I also had a brief love affair with hostess cesar (salad?) flavoured chips once upon a time. OH and the chickennoodle soup with noodle alligators.
  • Hostess Coffee Crumb Cakes!!!!! I have been devestated ever since they discontinued these. They now have a different version which is nothing like the original. The original had 3 circular shaped cakes and were delicious! I went as far as ordering Drake's Coffee Cakes from back east in hopes that they were the same, but they weren't =(

I also really miss Crystal Pepsi... yum yum yum!

Does anyone remember a green soda that was out around the same time as Crystal Pepsi? It was super sugary and usually much cheaper than Pepsi or Coca Cola products.. it may have started with an S.

  • If Wendy's ever discontinues sweet tea around here I will probably throw a hissy fit.

    I also loved Cheeto's Paws. A LOT.

When I was a kid, Kraft made some kind of noodles and creamy sauce dish. I loved it, and I can't find anything remotely close to it, or remember the exact name. It was always right next to the mac'n'cheese.
