How many people were in your wedding party?

Me: 6 bm, 4 gm

1-3 GM. FI is still undecided.

And we are having about 75 guests, if anyone is curious or cares. I do think that makes a difference in terms of the size of the wedding party.

5 BM, 6 GM, 1 FG, 1 RB, 2 little cuties who will be dressed up cute like the FG and RB but won't have any additional duties, 4 ushers ...and a partridge in a pear tree.

(I have six siblings, my FI has 2 siblings and 2 step-siblings, and I have 2 nieces and 2 nephews...makes for a large wedding party, lol).

3 BM, 3 GM, 1 FG. I want to try to do something special for 3 of my friends that I couldn't include because we didn't want to add guys just to add guys... I will definitely invite them to the rehearsal dinner.

We are expecting 125-150 guests.

As the regulars know by now (Since this comes up in like every other post I respond to), the BMs are my 2 sisters and FI's sister. The GMs are FIs 2 best friends since before we were dating and my 1 brother. The RB is FI's 8 year-old nephew. I have a 9 year-old brother who has Asperger's Syndrome that we aren't including in the WP, but he's getting a tux just like the RB and will be in any of the pictures he wants to participate in (He gets funny about that stuff sometimes).

We are having 4BM, 4GM, 1FG, and 1RB. We are having 130 guests. I also agree that the size of the wedding and WP should correlate. In my personal opinion I think a large wedding party with under 100 guests looks absolutely ridiculous. I also don't care for a tiny wedding party with over 150 guests but I don't think it's as bad as the other.

God it feels good to confess!! I know many of you are gonna go all Judgey McJudgerson but I don't care if you flame me.

Our families were happy, our friends were happy, no one was left out and I feel great about it!! And swallowing the expense of getting the gifts and bouquets wasn't that hard. I used low cost flowers anyway and actually enjoyed purchasing gifs for such close friends. I feel blessed!

We have 2 MOHs, 2 Best Men, 7 BMS, 7 GM, 2 ushers, 2 ringer bearers, and one of the cutest flower girls you will ever see! We love them all and can't wait for 1.30.2010!

O GM and O BM. 17 guests.

We're pretty informal that way and did not want a wedding party. Each guest is invited for five minutes each to participate in the ceremony though in someway if they choose (i.e. one of our friends is doing a bellydance, one or our siblings a song on her guitar) so maybe they are kind of like a big wedding party without matching outfits or any other duties

My sister and FI's sister will be our witnesses when we need to sign the legal stuff.

My FI's SIL is sitting with the guest book and greeting people as they walk in. My BIL and FI's BIL are escorting our respective mothers down the isle.

Bushgroupie, I'm SO jealous! I wanted our nephews to walk my dogs down the isle and my boy dog be the ring bearer and my girl dog have flowers around her neck. My FI said NO WAY! (I'm sure the church would agree with him so I let it go.)

Haha I'm really not ashamed, but alot of these women have strong opinions against large wedding parties but I have a big family and some absolutely wonderful friends and couldn't bear the thought of excluding any of them on the Big day. I didn't want to be getting ready or riding the trolley thinking "well this is fun but I wish Jane were here"

It worked out great!!

5 of mine were my nieces ages 14,10,10,10 and 6

2 of his were my nephews both age 9 (not twins).
