I bought a pair of Coach shoes yesterday. They were super on sale, but still more than I've ever paid for a pair of shoes before. I'm excited because they're pretty classy looking. I'm trying to add more professional pieces to my wardrobe, and I think they'll fit in well. I got some cute pants, too.

I will also be splurging on more clothes, but not with my own money. I found out I won $500 from the VS Secret Rewards promotion! I nearly died when I saw it!

I pretty much love those. I have a huge boner for big sunglasses. Yep I just said boner. I got the cutest pair for 3 bucks from pac sun and then broke them.

My most recent splurge was my school payment and cell phone bill. Hells yeah I rock.

Unfortunately, no. I was very sad to see him go. He was adopted by a very nice couple, though, so he got a good home.

BTW, I think your sunglasses are awesome, Marley! They look really good on you! I got so excited about my splurging that I forgot to compliment you on yours.

SOP, have you tried Bravissimo?  I just got their catalog, but I can't bring myself to buy stuff that expensive.  I'm a DD, so I can still find some bras off the rack.  I really want one of their button-up blouses, though.  It would be nice to have something fit in the waist AND the bust.

I don't buy expensive sunglasses.  When I spend $$ on glasses, I sit on them or lose them.  If I pay $5 for them, I keep them for years.

My most recent splurge was the microdermabrasion set from Mary Kay.  I haven't gotten it in yet, but I've been billed...lol. I used it a few years ago and it did wonders for my skin.

I love big sunglasses. I have a hard time with bright light (my eyesight is so bad, I'm pretty sure I'm legally blind in one eye, so super-powered contacts = light sensitivity), and big sunglasses fix that pretty good.

I splurged on a (second) rehearsal dinner dress. I discovered that the one I had originally purchased was about two sizes too big on Sunday and I wouldn't have enough time to get it altered for the rehearsal dinner. Ended up getting this from David's:

Turns out, it fits way better than the original one did (even when it fit) - way more figure flattering. Plan to save this dress for when I have to go to weddings, and have the other one tailored so I can take it on our honeymoon.

Those are cute sunglasses.  I can never splurge on sunglasses because I am notorious for losing, breaking, scratching, dropping, etc them all.the.time.  I go through at least 3 pairs of sunglasses a year.  LOL.

I have a feeling FI is going to be splurging (again) soon...he keeps pricing out trips to Hawaii again.  He is really burned out at work and wants a vacation, I keep trying to keep him a little closer (and cheaper) to home, but he wants to go back to Hawaii.  Not like I'm complaining, I LOVE Hawaii, but I have to keep reminding him that we do kind of have a wedding coming up and all....

    :O!!!!! I got a stupid $10 one!

I bought two dresses for a wedding I'm going to this month. I ordered both online so I'm not sure what they look like on  but I'm sure I'll probably keep both. FMIL had 30% off at Kohls!
  • edited December 2011

Marley those glasses look super cute on you.

This was my recent splurge. It is my new spring Coach purse. I have a soft spot for Coach. I actually bought it at the factory store and had a 30% off coupon so I got it for almost 70% off the store price.  Score!

I passed by a lilac PSP at the Australia duty free and just bought it. I always wanted a PSP but just borrowed... it was $225, which is sad because I could have bought a blck or white one in the US for about $160. But this one is purple! And it doesn't have Hannah Montana on it! I also bought a $60 Guess purse (I never spend a lot of money on clothes and purses) while in Singapore so it was a splurge for me.. I am too lazy to take a pic and I can't find it online but its cute and has hearts on it! But yes I do have a pic of my PSP... :P

[QUOTE]LOVE the glasses Marley! I bought some super cute ones when I was in New Orleans buuuut they were only $5 cause I got them at the French Market! Also, this would be my splurge... Bialetti 14 piece cookware set! BF and I SERIOUSLY needed a new (matching) pot and pan set...and this is what I got yesterday! Costco had it on coupon for 79.99 when it's normally quite a bit more than that (even on Amazon it was like $130 or something like that). I know, I know i'm so incredibly domestic now but i'm still excited!
