I'm guessing I'm destined to have a ton of stretch marks when I have a baby.

I had lots of them all over my body and arms when I was about 9 or 10. I remember being out riding bikes with the other kids and they would come ask me "What happened to your arms?" They were covered with deep thick red lines from shoulder to elbow all around. I don't really know what caused them.

Over time, I developed a nasty "wing" that no amount of exercise will reduce. I'm scared to have any cosmetic surgery for it since my mom keloids and I take after her. I really don't want nasty tight scars running along my arms. Now the stretch marks are just about all silvery and shine in the light.

I'll tell you, it sucks to be the 9 year old that looks like she's been mauled.

So, yeah, I'll gladly take the belly stretch marks because at least I won't be the only one with those. I have a feeling they will look really bad though unless I loose a lot of weight between now and then. I know my skin won't bounce back.

My mom told me that when you get older, your uterus starts to sag if you've had a kid, creating the "pooch." The image alone grossed me out. Then I had to wonder, I have a retroverted uterus (upside down), so if I had a kid, where would my sagging go? I don't want to find out. No kids here.

you people are rude as hell, they cant help the scars or stretch marks and who the hell gave you guys the idea that they dont have a beautiful body? i think they look amazing. and to say they scare you?? who do you guys think you are a victoria secret model? im sure people say the same thing when they see your cellulite on the beach...

Imp, I'll add my 7" gallbladder slash that gaped open after I came home and is 1/2 wide at it's greatest. I'd also add the 5 laprascopic scars, but they're lost amid the stretch marks, from gaining weight as a kid. We'll stand side by side.
