Re: FFF

  • My dad wanted to serve on jury duty his entire life for some reason. A month after he died he was finally called. :-/

And yes, we were quite alarmed that he was still on the jury duty list and voter registration MONTHS after his death!
  • I've gotten 3 notices, but only had to go once.

  • I think it'd be entertaining. And I have one of those unlimited government jobs, but apparently they don't want me Cry

  • Anybody had Izze?  It's real juice, but carbonated.  I love it.  It's my favorite soda substitute.  I don't sleep so well if I have much caffiene, so I'm trying to cut back, and Izze is my go-to replacement beverage.

  • I can't remember what I got paid for my jury duty. I think it was like $100 total. But the county I was living in at the time did it wrong. I had to show up on the first Friday of the month for 3 months straight and sit through jury selections. I was picked once... it was a shoplifting case. But it was still fascinating!

  • Costco has a 12 pack variety box for 8.50 right now. I bought 3 boxes last night.  But, it only has 3 flavors.  I want to get some of the rest for a decent price.  $2/bottle is not decent.  So, if anybody has a lead on it, lemme know.  It is the shiit.

</div><div>Here, they put you on call for a week and then if you get called you have to go sit at the courthouse for selection. I've been on call twice and called in once, but thankfully not picked to be on a jury. The trial they were considering me for was a civil case that would have lasted a month.</div><div>

  • I've only gotten one jury duty summons.  I was 20 and it was for the week before I had to go back to college in Rhode Island, so I was excused after sitting there for an hour.

I know I could be called at any time, but I'm hoping I don't.

You can search for each flavor in your area and it'll even map it for you.

  • I had Squirt, I kinda liked it, but in that flavor family, I would rather have Ski.

When it comes to beer, I love all things beer.  I'll try 'em all.
I work for a beer distrubutor, so everyone fly to KY, and I'll lock us in the cooler for the weekend.  We'll try to drink our way out.

Favorite soda this second:  Steak and Sheak fountain coke zero with cherry added.  nom nom nom....

It started off strong, but it took a hard left somewhere near Harry Potter and has been meandering around aimlessly ever since.
  • I will only drink Squirt if it's combined with Red Bull and Tanqueray.
  • Mery, only the cans are cheap on Amazon, & they're 2/3 the size of the bottles.  But I have Amazon Prime, so shipping is not an issue.

Hmmm, the izze finder tells me Whole Foods and Target.  And no World Market here.  We have one in Louisville, but none in Greater Boston, apparently.  Gah.

Do you remember Terry Fator? From America's got Talent? We saw him last night. And ya know what? HE WAS FREAKING HILARIOUS and awesome.
