We also say "the" before highways and stuff. We are getting on "the 90". Instead of just interstate 95 or take 95. It would be take the 90. But I don't do it here. It's weird

One that gets me is sweatshirt v. sweater. To me, a sweater is something that is knitted (is that even a word?) and a sweatshirt is something that is a thick jersey like material. Not sure how to explain it - but hoodies are sweatshirts, not sweaters, to me.

I didn't have a YouTube account back then, so I wound up posting mine on FB and then only allowing the SB girls to see it. I made it way too complicated lol.
What I've noticed about people from the Pacific Northwest (where I grew up) is we say "these/those ones" instead of just saying "these/those". As in, "I think I like these shoes better than those ones".
