Bridal Gown Shopping

I am sure people have asked this before but I am trying to find a bridal salon in the area that has plus size samples to try on.  I have already booked appointments at David's Bridal in Dedham, Alfread Angelo in Dedham and Manhattan Bridal.  All say they have plus size samples to try on but after reading other posts I am start to doubt that.  Any advise....beginning to stress

    Head straight to Botticelli in North Providence.  Please don't stress. I made the mistake of hitting up David's in Dedham first.  Even though they tell you they have many plus sized dresses, they really don't!!  I wrote a post a few days ago about Botticelli with a link.  Please, do yourself a favor and read it.  Good luck!  Jan saved my experience!!!!

     bottecellis was really nice. also check out wishing well in east providence. they had a ton of plus size also. i got my dress there and they were great. There are not many store with plus size and holding a dress up to you isn't at all like actually trying on. hth

    I agree... Boticelli in N Providence. I got my dress there and I loved the experience.

    Also, Boticelli is having a sample sale this weekend, no appointment is required. I get the emails as I got my dress there, and there are some amazing deals for the samples.

    i second the wishing well.  they have a ton of dresses in larger sizes and are a great laid back shop.  I bought my dress there and was very happy with everything.  no appt is required and they let you browse and choose your own dresses to try on.  My only complaint was that the dressing rooms are tiny.

    I looked at the samples on sale at Botticelli and can't believe how cheaply she's letting those dresses go!! Great quality--foundations all built in---amazing material.  Not the cheap stuff at DB....Check out her FB page.  The dresses on sale are shown!!  Great stuff available. No appointments needed for the sale this weekend!!!

    For my dress I went to Vows in Watertown. I went on the weekend when they have walk-ins so there wasn't that pressure there. Everyone was very nice and I thought they had a good selection of plus-size gowns
