We are going to be swapping our current dining room set with my grandmother's. (She is cool with it as she is in assisted living and my brother is moving into the condo she isn't in anymore.)
Anyway, we currently have an area rug in the dining area that we found on Craigslist for 50 bucks right before we moved in. I am ready to change out the rug. We currently have
this rug in the pool room immediately adjacent to the dining room. The walls match the light tan and russet sort of color. What do you all think of these?
This one looks nothing like the other rug, but mirrors it.
This is is just a plain jane brown shag, but according to the reviews, cleans up well versus kids and pets. Some of which we have and/or are planning on having.
For reference, the dining set goes back some years, is midcentury in era, but not quite true mid century. Grandmother was rather proper, so didn't eschew all the decorative carving and bits on her furniture.
