Sunday night :(

Re: Sunday night :(

  • Oh MS that's so sad. Allergic to eggs.

  • I'm in the "hate it" eggnog camp.  Maybe it tastes good, I don't know.  I don't like thick/creamy drinks.  H loves it.
  • Yeah, I avoid things where egg is the main ingredient for the most part. Pretty lame. :(

  • I'm sorry MuSu. I will just have to drink extra in your honor.

  • Love eggnog. I haven't had any this year yet.
  • Megs, hopefully we can drink egg nog together soon!
  • Ew I am not a fan of eggnog. I don't like the name and I've never tried it.

FI and I just got home from eating at Moe's. I'm going out with a friend of mine tonight. I'm pretty excited.

Has anyone ever had a Blue Motorcycle?
  • Mica- Even if there is no eggnog, we will find something else.

I tried this eggnog last year. It was very good.

  • I want to drink Egg Nog with Mica, and Petal, and Megs.

  • Mrs. Jesse- I love your tree!  Especially your wedding ornament.  We'll have to get/make something like that!
  • MK - you look fantastic!!

  • Mrs. B - I'm sure she will love it and be in awe. Are you in FL or visiting?

MK - I've got the eggnog ready.

  • I would seriously drink a thing of Egg Nog daily if it was A) apropriate outside of the holiday season, and B) Not so damn fattening. As it is I have to limit myself. I buy the single serving Marva Maid brand and stretch it out over a few days.

  • Just popping in... I think eggnog is gross.

I'm watching the AKC/Eukanuba National Invitational (dog show) on a live stream... hoping for an upset, but we'll see. Have a few friends there that I'm rooting for.

Also, FI sucks. He's guessed all but one of his presents thus far and I'm a terrible liar. He sucks all of the fun out of gift-giving.
  • Kelly we've already exchanged our gifts. Well...ok I told him about his gift and ordered it on Black Friday for him because I didn't want to miss out on it. I thought we were going to have to go to the store and if I was going to have to stand outside waiting to get it, he was going to be standing with me.

He gave me mine last week when I was visiting my dad. We're terrible about waiting. I did the same thing with Birthday gifts.

I did buy him a watch that he doesn't know about. So I'm excited to give that to him.

  • Hello. Is anyone still here?

  • Hi C!

Sort of.  I'm mostly patrolling and dozing off.  I'm tired tonight.
  • I'm tired. I didn't get much sleep last night because E was fussy. This morning he had a complete meltdown for H as I was leaving for work. Refused to eat and was coughing he was crying so hard. I really want these damn teeth to break through so he gets some relief.

  • Does anyone know if HIPPA is still an issue after death? Like, can I ask a doctor questions about someone's healthcare after they've died?
  • That's so cute, Mrs. Jesse.
  • Jesse our tree is 4 feet tall. I love it. I just got to get some things to make it more secure in the base since it is really loose and we can't tighten it anymore and all the stores here are out of the smaller tree stands.

  • Ciara - How are you doing tonight?

I'm looking through pinterest and trying to find recipes I might want to try.

  • Birdie -- HIPAA extends past death.  You'd have to get permission to access those records from the deceased person's next-of-kin/representative.

  • K. That would be my mom. I think I'm going to have to make a list of things I want answered.
  • ::waves hi::

Working is kicking my butt.   Everyone seems to get 2 weeks training.  ME???  I get 2 days, then they have me work BY MYSELF.  Oh and my new boss (started the same week as I did) is leaving for 2 weeks on Friday and I have to cover for him.   And we are having an xmas party, then  2 sets friends are visiting back-to-back.  Oh and Chef-D is coming in the next week or 2.

Yeah, I'm rethinking this starting work before the holidays.

Anyway, just stopped by to say a quick hello to everyone.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
