I am watching my first episode ever.  Just OMG.  Some cool things but seems like such a waste.

    Personally, I think half the weddings on that show are gross!

    That show is the reason I can honestly tell people not to worry about it when they think their wedding budget is small... you can have a WAY more gorgeous wedding than some of those for way way less. I mean, obviously there are some truly amazing and beautiful things on there, but it is mostly overkill imo.

    I think it is so weird the way they go through every item and tell how much it cost. There's something about the way most of them say it that rubs me the wrong way. That is the only wedding show I think I do not have set to be DVRed :)

    I agree with you both.  Overkill and the prices? YIKES.

    What about the girl that her dad built the reception and church for? She actually seemed down to earth but I can't even imagine!

    This is one wedding show I do not watch.  Maybe if I had an unlimited budget, then I would be more into it, but I have a very small budget, and yes, I sometimes wish I could have more, but the reality is that I can't.  No point in torturing myself with things that I know are utterly unattainable.
