Flammable Confessions

Re: Flammable Confessions

  • Re: hitting animals with cars. I've known a few people who were either killed, or injured, dodging deer. When I got my DL my parents were pretty adamant that if there was a deer in the road, they'd rather me hit it and fuuck up the car than try to dodge it and potentially get into a worse wreck.

I honestly have no clue what you're talking about.
  • I agree that all BC should be more affordable/available, but with IUD's it is strongly recommended (at least in my area) that if you are in your twenties or do not already have a child to not get it. So for someone who is young, has no kids, and is gettings abortions, I really think that it comes down to they need to either be more educated about BC or still have a lot to learn about responsibility. That is just IMO though. IUD's may also be more available in different areas. I just know this because my cousin who has a child and is 22 had a really hard time getting her IUD. He doc tried very stongly to persuade her not to get it and get on some other type of BC.

This is what I originally put, and I mean I think that younger women and teens are still ill educated about BC and how to use it properly. Not all but there are many areas that are not properly educating and teens and young women who don't realize the resources out there.

Yeah I had bad mood swings, like crazy-person to FI.  I could tell I was a bit off.

About the eyes side effects, I was so surprised when I had them. I googled it and only found a few sites where some girls mentioned the same side effects.

    Posted by Celles[/QUOTE]

Why yes I did! This article is over a year old, but it still gets the point across:

According to the newest numbers from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, teen births increased by 3 percent nationally in 2006, reversing a 15-year decline of more than a third. And Palin's home state of Alaska -- one of 26 states to see a rise -- led the way, with a 19 percent increase in the teenage birthrate from the previous year.

  • I am so behind, by at least a page.  So, forgive me if I am responding late to things.

IUDs are not recommended for younger women especially those who are not in monogomous relationships.  Because they can get badly infected from STDs and stuff.  Also insertion is easier for those who have had children since the cervix has been "opened" or whatever the term would be.

My bad, I thought your entire response was geared just toward that one statement. Regardless we can agree that we all don't want to pay to support unwanted children with taxpayer dollars and that BC needs to be more affordable for everyone.

Even when I worked 20 hours at minimum wage I still had to pay $50 a month because I was over the income limit. At the time $50 was a whole lot to me.
