She looks like she really just wants the whole thing to be over with by the end of it.

Stephie, I agree it wasn't all the photographer. I just looked at some other engagements that he did and they were better.

Ok, I'm curious who this is and I wish someone would just OUT the name of it already.  It's not called "flame free friday" for nothing.

Maybe the link should have just been posted earlier but maybe they wanted to spare their feelings.

For myself though I would want someone to tell me that my pictures are unflattering.

ezzy, I don't know if you can say really that... if this person was on this board and they posted those pictures, I don't think a single person including me would say the things that we said about them because no one wants to be mean to someone to their face.
This pictures weren't atrocious or anything but they definitely weren't good either, and most likely the people in the pictures think they pictures came out pretty good or atleast were somewhat excited to see them as we all are when we get our pictures back and wouldn't want to hear bad things about them.

I agree most people would not like to hear that their pictures didn't come out well especially from strangers. What I meant to say is I would hope that my closest friends and family would tell me gently tell me that the pictures could have been better.

I feel bad that these individuals had an unfortunate session.

I don't know if that was a good idea. The OP said that she knows them in real life and didn't want them to get mad if they find this thread. That's why the link wasn't posted in the first place.
Whenever I see a brunch reception, I don't know why they aren't more popular.  I  wish we had considered it more seriously. Posted by stephiehall
I have been seriously thinking about doing a brunch reception!  Do you think drinking and dancing would be appropriate at a brunch reception?  I've been thinking about siggy drinks. so maybe spritzers?  I like the idea of a brunch reception, I wonder how much $$$ it would save?

We had a Dallas Knottie do one in April I think and it looked fabulous.  I know they did a first dance and father/daughter.  And honestly, if you stll do a Saturday, I'm not sure if you really save that much money on food and venue (but I do think the other vendors are a lttle cheaper).  A Sunday brunch would probably save you alot though.  I just know how tired we were by the end of the night and it would have been fun to have the night to still relax and party with our friends.
