Hey , I'm so sorry you r going thru this. Not seeing you on mother's day bc mother in law more important. Nonsense . Sounds like the gf is a chip off old block of mom. Sounds like sons gf is a well....brat. idk best advice other than talk to your soon about how you'd like to be with him more , or make plans to take walks, lunches , etc things that don't break the bank. Invite son and gf or if gf doesn't come just son. Start to do all you can to make effort to be with son away from this so he can make sure it's what he wants . You are his mother , you deserve to be held high

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Guys... (Random chatting goes here) : Well, I can't name names since I don't want to be called a vendor (I don't think), but it's a used bookstore and the most we can charge for a book is half the current list price. Employees also get 20 to 50% off that price. It's a pretty sweet deal. We have stores in California, but I'm not sure where they are in relation to you. I can PM you the CA locations if you want.

That would be fantastic!
[QUOTE]OHHAI! H and I are getting all giddy over that house, but we're also sufficiently tipsy. We should probably wait until tomorrow to make a reals decision. ;)

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Guys... (Random chatting goes here) : This is what I usually do. I guess I was doing it correctly all along and being lazy and the same time. Win! But looks like I'm re-mopping tomorrow. Steph- So exciting! I don't see anything wrong with thinking about it in your tipsy state. <strong>But I'd wait to make an offer until sober and then immediately toast to making an offer. </strong>

[QUOTE]Haha how funny is that? Do you guys not buy stuff from Amazon? I feel like I always get books there for a penny.

I love Amazon. Except the shipping kind of kills it for me sometimes.

<div>Our store doesn't buy from amazon, but I do sometimes, if it's something I really want and we don't see it often. But seriously, at my store, you can get some best sellers for, like, $1. Seriously.</div><div>
</div><div>ETA: And then you don't have to pay shipping.</div>

We have Amazon Prime, because we usually buy everything from Amazon, but everything ends up costing just a little bit more than usual because it has to be eligible.
[QUOTE]It always bothers me when I see Kindle posts because those could conceivably put me out of a job. But, during the whole recession, our company kept opening stores. We're STILL opening stores. I think people respect that we recycle, buy from the public, and we are always doing donations to schools and hospitals.

That's awesome. I still do love my Kindle though. Sorry.

<div>I completely understand. As long as people still buy books, we'll be ok. Plus we have movies and stuff.</div><div>
