I hear that too.
• And of course the pic is too tiny to read.

Anyway, Moose, doesn't it cancel it out if she flamed everyone?

I was there until 2008. I worked mainly at hotels, Embassy Suites Convention Center, Wild Dunes (Worked at Edgar's Restaurant there, and as a banquet captain), and the Renaissance Charleston Hotel.

Did you know Vickery's off of King street closed this year?

• Aww, TR, thanks! And you can admit to stalking without shame since I'm the one who puts my life on the internet for all to see.

Squirrly, I don't think it's a flame if you're retaliating to someone else's flame. And I don't think "so-and-so rubs me the wrong way" is a flame, it has to be a bit more specific and critical than that because really, we're not all the same and are not all going to love each other, and that's fine. That said, I don't think I've ever been flamed.
In Response to Re: Questions. : We go up to Richmond sometimes since less than an hour. It's a fun trip. We actually live in Gloucester Point, right over the bridge from Yorktown. Is your family still in the area?
Posted by mkrupar
Yup, right behind York High School. H's family lives 5 miles away; we went to high school together.

We had family friends in Gloucester Point, but they moved to Massanutten and built a house. Have you been to the Crab Deck at River's Inn? That's my favorite place to eat back home, even worth the $2 toll to get there.

• Last thing we watched from Netflix was Kick Ass (can I write that here?)  We currently have two red envelopes waiting to be opened but I don't know what's in them because H controls the queue - which by the way is one of the best words ever.

Lala, you've never flamed me, but I also don't think you've noticed me one way or the other.

Actually, I've never *really* been flamed about anything.  Although in one of my early posts I did ask about hosting beer/wine at the end but having a cash bar for liquor, and people were honest with me.  And East has made me feel stupid on a number of occasions, but I guess that's not really a flame, per se.
• In terms of a big flame-- I think it would have to be more than 3+ people agreeing with the flame. If one or two people say it, meh.

We have not yet been. People keep telling me to go. SO doesn't like seafood so it's hard to get him to go to places that even have some sort of seafood reference in the title (even thought they almost always have something else). Maybe we'll check it out this weekend.

Did you get married in Charleston!? So jealous, I wanted to sooooo bad, but logistically wasn't possible. :-(

it broke my heart too. Jason and Daryl were the best bartenders. I do enjoy the one in Mt. P because of Shem Creek. Red's is also one of my favorite places in Shem Creek.

• My biggest flame:

I posted about my ex-friend going on a 2nd honeymoon 3 months after the first one and everyone flamed me for caring at all what other people did. That was fine, I shouldn't have cared. But in the end it turned out she went with her entire H's family, so calling it a 2nd honeymoon was complete horse shite anyway. It made me laugh to see all the pics on FB.

• amoro is probably writing a novel-length post right now.
• I've been lurking pretty much since I joined I think in Jan.  I spend quite a bit of time on her actually, mostly while I'm at work.  I read most of the threads between calls but have never posted on this board.  But now you've drawn me out by talking about my favorite shows, Dexter and True Blood.  Can't wait for the new season of Dexter, and I think FI just downloaded season 3 of True Blood.  Right now we're watching season 1 of The Shield on NetFlix.
I already made the most important decision- the rest are just details! image
• Abbalish - what did you think of Kick Ass?  Mr. Arb picked that our for us, and I loved it a lot more than I thought I would.

I should answer my own Netflix question:
Last disc I received was Entourage Season 6 Disc 2
I am currently watching Sister Act.  I spend most of my days at work rewatching tv shows and movies from my childhood.  It's nice to see them again, and since I've seen most of them a million times, I don't have to pay so much attention.

Why didn't she get banned? Hahahaha. Amoro was queen of the three-day ban and then the perma-ban. One of them was for the Somewhereorother, Michigan invasion no?

• Hm.  I don't really remember.  I know that my original SN got warned for being involved in a conversation, theeeen... I got a little crazy and was pretty mean.  Then I came back, and the girls on my local were a little unhappy about that so followed me around reporting stuff.  There were a bunch of people who were reporting everything I said.

But I know it's not as bad as I got for a bit because I've had emails from KA telling me how she appreciated me taking a step back.
• Arbs, I really liked it.  I really had no desire to watch it beforehand but I liked it a lot more than I thought I would.  I thought it would be more comic-y than it actually was.

We also recently saw Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World in the theater and that one felt a lot more gimmicky to me.
