Jalousie Plantation, St.Lucia

Has anyone stayed here? I reviewed it on trip advisor and it looks absolutely wonderful.  We were just wondering if there would be enough to do around the resort for 8 nights or if we shoud split it up with a second resort?  Also, some of the reviews mention construction, so has anyone gone recently and how bad was the construction?  We're planning our honeymoon for November of this year.

    We honeymooned at Jalousie in October 2010.  We absolutely loved it!  Everything was 5 Star. Location is absolutely amazing, villas are the nicest accomodations we've ever stayed in, service was impeccable, food was awesome.  I highly reccommend doing the all-inclusive - it's totally worth it!  We stayed for 10 nights and never ran out of things to do - there are watersports available through the resort and lots of great excursions nearby (hiking the Piton, zip-lining, waterfalls, etc...)  There was some construction going on during our stay - but nothing too intrusive.  We saw 2-3 trucks per day travelling within the resort (typically early morning or late afternoon).  We heard contruction noise from the beach during 2 days of our stay - but not enough to bother us.  I definitely recommend Jalousie Plantation - this place is magical and we cant wait to go back!
