I started addressing mine last night, and I surprised myself by getting a lot done. I could probably finish them all tonight. Is it too early to send them? The wedding is June 2nd and my shower is April 1st.
I'm June 2 as well and sent mine yesterday. They were sitting for likes month and I got too anxious lol. I was gonna send them next week but it's still not too early
I sent mine just to get them out of my house yesterday. We are getting married on June 26. It's a Tuesday, so I don't feel bad about sending them early. Just gives people more time to ask off work and plan their trips.
I dont think it's too early. My wedding is June 9th so Im planning on sending them April 9th because it seemed like a good date. By the time they arrive in the mail it will be so close to April I think you'll be good.
My wedding is also June 2nd. We will have them all finished up with in the next day or so. We will probably mail them before we live for Costa Rica on Saturday. I don't want my mom to have to bother with sending them out next week.

Our wedding is June 9th and ours got mailed yesterday! I gave them to a friend of the family to do the addresses in calligraphy on Saturday at my shower and she emailed me yesterday asking if it was ok to put them in the mail. I said, "sure." I wasn't planning on her having them done that soon, but by the time everyone actually recieves the invite then it should be right around the 10 week mark. Almost everyone is OOT so that gives them extra time. Can't wait for the RSVP's to start rolling in

I am June 8th and I was planning to send mine out next week. I want to get them in peoples' hands before Easter! But, after reading this, I feel a little behind the game. I may have to go home and get to work on my invites!
Once I got them sealed and stamped Sunday I didnt see any reason to keep them sitting around the house. If I were a guest I'd want notice! I'm excited. FI & I are betting lunch over which day we will get our first RSVP!
I don't think it's too early. My wedding is June 30th and I'm planning on sending my invitations the last week in April. You're less than 3 months and the "rule" is 2-3 months.
I'm a June 2 we sent ours on Friday. I finished them a while ago and the anxiousness was getting to me! I was planning to send them next week but I just couldn't wait any longer!

My wedding is June 30th and we will probably mail them mid-April. I plan to have them completely done by this weekend though. My shower is April 1st so I figured I would have my hands full of writing thank you cards at that time so I wanted to get them done before the shower. And I don't want to wait until the end of April because my cousin's wedding is April 28th (grr don't get me started!) so I don't want to send them too close to her wedding. I don't like to rain on anyone else's parade (my MOH's brother/SIL did it to her and I thought it was extremely rude so I refused to be THAT person).
Haha. oops. I didn't mean to rain on anyones parade but I did send 1 invite to a couple who is getting married this weekend! I didn't want to wait and try to figure out if she was changing her name after I already addressed the envelope.
Though they probably will misplace it in their rush this week. That's fine as long as they find it when then come back from their honeymoon!
I sent my first batch today (no rude b-listing, those were the ones i had finished).
We are getting married June 30th but it is a holiday weekend (canada day) so i wanted to give people a head start since i only send std's to out of town guests.
I am going to continue to send them as i go along. It will be easier that way.
I don't know how anyone manages to get them done in a day.
I have about 105 (some people never respond to emails for their addresses) to do for now & i only got about 30 done in a 3-4 hour time frame.
We are June 2, and I wish mine were ready to send out. My mom does calligraphy, and she is working on addressing them for me. She said today that she has already made a huge dent in them. I can't wait to get them out.
As far as getting RSVPs back, I can't wait to see them start coming in, either. BUT.....they are being mailed to my FI's parent's house, in a town about an hour and a half away from me, so I won't have the joy of checking the mail every day. BUT I didn't want them coming to my house, in case anyone mails a card or something. I'm moving there sometime between now and the wedding, and I didn't want things getting lost in the mail.
