I'm about to start matting some art so I can get it hung (not my art) and then I'm going on a quick scrubbing spree so maybe I can be chore-free most of the weekend.

I've just been working on getting ready for a work event we have coming up. Almost done making all the packets and getting all the supplies together. It's actually a series of events and I will miss the second one due to the wedding and honeymoon (yay!) so I'm also trying to track everything I do so that someone can cover for me while I'm out.

Its gonna be really nice here this weekend.

Im waiting for H to get ready for the day so we can go pick up some more plants. I need to get about 8 bags of fertilizer for the garden, and they are 40lbs each. Im on pelvic rest still so I cant lift them. He worked really late last night and is being lazy. Grrr.

Yay a safe thread.

I'm not doing much, just working. I'm giong home to mom's tonight and staying over. This will sound awful, but I'm glad H stayed home because I don't have to worry about Whisky. For one night/morning, H has to be the bad guy with medicine and I can go home tomorrow and be the hero with treats. Score!

Anna, you should totally hang some of your art. You are talented!

6 so far, but I have room for 3 more in that garden. Im using the entire space that was the whole garden last year as the tomatoe garden this year.

The weather was so nice this morning that I didn't want to go to work. We have small GTG with some of FI's friends tonight for a BBQ.

Work is going good. I got a bottle of wine this morning and our new printer got delivered.

Really, really happy today is almost over. I've had a shitshow at work this week, so it will be nice to have the weekend to re-energize myself. I'm (hopefully) setting myself up for a raise though, so it's not all bad. H comes home today after being in AL all week for work, so we are just having a quiet night of steaks, grilled veggies, and copious amounts of wine.

I'm so pissed that it got under freezing two weeks ago and killed my cilantro. I had to bring all my plants back inside. Then, it was 87 degrees this week. (20 above the average.) I'm ready to strangle the weather.

I am hungry for lunch but it is still an hour and a half away. I thought the funny named AE's would be funny, but I didn't realize so many raunchy pictures would be involved so I am not going in those threads.

Shutter Island is the one with Leonardo Dicaprio, right? H and I had a major argument over the ending. I'm still convinced I was right.

You know what you should watch? Ghost Rider 2. It's the most absurd movie in the world and Nic Cage acts like a crazy person with his manical laughter. It's awesomely bad.

Dodgers- basically everything. Corn, beans, brocolli, peppers (green, yellow, red, hot), cukes, squash, zuchini, eggplant. All different types of each. Nebb was awesome and laid out a planting map for me so eveything will go well together.

That's what threw me too. My work doesn't really monitor anything, but I didn't really want to look at all of that either.

I'm waiting until we get back from our honeymoon to start my vegetable/herb garden. I put a few herb seeds in little indoor pots, so we'll see if they're still alive when we get back.

calixtine, is that dog in your sig pic yours? He looks like my furbaby, and that's totally something my dog would do.

Wow that sounds awesome Blue! I have like 4 zucchini plants growing a 2 snow peas, a couple of tiny lettuces that I don't think will survive, but my carrots, onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers didn't even sprout. I probably planted the wrong times and stuff. I don't know. It's my first time and I just decided to throw everything down at once.

Lol, no. But Nebb told me about planting garlic in the fall and it survives to sprout in the spring. I want to try that.

Honestly, im not much of a gardener. I just happen to live on land that was farm land for 200 years so the soil is amazing. Also, Nebb tells me how to do everything, lol.
