LesPaul, it's a "yorkie"... but not really. I would say I'd been ripped off, but the resulting mutt of terriers I got from the deal is really spectactular.
She has little stumpy legs and huge ears. And she's an idiot. But oh-so-cute.

I promise I'll try to not suck. I guess I can't make guarantees, but I suppose I have yet to be told of suckiness, so we're on the right track.
I kinda have four, but they don't all live together. I live part-time with my fiance, part-time with my parents (long irritating story), so I have two dogs at my parents', and two cats at my fiance's.
Met my fiance at a mutual friend's Halloween party. Nothing romantic or anything... we met and dated and now we're engaged. Lol.
Aaand no, not much lurking other than today. But I was told that knot boards are helpful for planning, so I joined up and headed over. Not sure how much I'll like it for the usefulness in planning a wedding, but seems to be fun for non-wedding stuff... Oh well.

Well, you know that now we must hear the long and irritating story.
Halloween parties are awesome. Even more awesome if you meet your future fiance there.
Believe it or not, we can actually be very wedding helpful too. You just have to not be an idiot (so far you don't seem to be an idiot, so keep that up) and accept feedback well. We don't get a ton of wedding questions on this board, but if you ask them, we'll answer. We have a bunch of already marrieds that can give been there, done that advice, and a bunch of plannings who are probably going through some of the same things. So ask away :)
Just don't ask us how to fire a bridesmaid, how to keep a guest/family member/WP member from giving birth on your wedding day, or how to demand your parents double your budget.

HA! I saw a post like that on the Wedding Party forum today; someone trying to boot someone. Is it a common occurrence? Jeebus.
And, well I mean it's a little lame. But my mom told me she would strongly oppose to and question my overall morals (harsh) if I moved in with my then-boyfriend. She said we needed to be engaged. Then we got engaged, and he was moving, so I decided to move with him. Only to get a, "Well, you're not married YET. You need to stay at home at LEAST twice a week. This is still your home." Sigh.

Yes we forgive you for box kitty's sake. And that beautiful dress.
Wow you have lurked for no time at all and have already posted and have not gotten flamed yet! Plus you got tips that other newbies never get. Lucky you. But I like you since I started posting the same day I signed up to, you got some balls. And I love that your name will be Nessa Rose! Welcome.
Thanks Jelique! Yeah, I mean I guess it probably sucks big time to get flamed, but I also think I have a pretty thick internet-skin. Not a real-life-skin, by the way, that one's pretty thin. And I get it cut up and bruised all the damn time.
