I dislike...

Re: I dislike...

  • Mrs. T's IMO isn't as good as homemade.

I'm going home this weekend and if I remember I'll pick it up and give it to you.

Ours is a barebones recipe... as long as you get the dough right you can fill it with whatever you want. I'm pretty sure the dough is just equal parts flour and water and an egg, and tsp salt? And the filling is cheese mashed potatoes (Make sure they are completely cooled before stuffing)... you can put bacon in them too  but back in the day in the Catholic church... Christmas eve was a day of abstaining from meat so they were normally  meatless.

[QUOTE]If you go to a Mexican resaurant, it's pretty much a given that there's going to be a mariachi band, so why should you be surprised that they're there playing? If it bothers you so much, then get your food to-go. I don't complain about the polka band playing their accordians at the German biergarten restaurant I go to, because I know they play there. And about the mispronunciation, if you're going to use a Spanish word, shouldn't you at least know how it's pronounced, thus avoiding embarassment?

I eat at Mexican restaurants ALL the time and have NEVER seen a band play while I was eating or at all for that matter.
