I don't want this to turn into a debate, because everyone seems to be in a very chill mood, but I also find it interesting that as a country we think flag burning is the worst thing ever, yet almost every single President has been mocked or degraded publicly in some fashion.

I don't really know any (in real life lol). Most that I know are socially liberal and fiscally conservative. Its why I don't like to classify myself as a Republican because I'm more likely to be a conservative.

My mom is hardcore republican but I think it's mostly the older adults who are in this catagory.

Katie, I don't have an answer for everyone. Did people who mocked Bush actually disagree with flag burning.

For me it is unAmerican to burn the flag but it is also unAmerican to outlaw flag burning.I don't think it's the worse thing ever but, I think there are better ways to express our disdain for current issues in the United States. It just looks bad to other countries that already hate us.

Yes! Marshmallows are delicious

This summer one of Dh's aunts had her first ever fire toasted marshmallow (at the age of 56). She put it too close to the flame and it caught on fire, so she started beating it against the edge of the brick fireplace to put out the flames. We all laughed so much (including her).
