Wedding Party

I am prety sure I can answer my own question (I just need to grow a set and be honest) but I would like someone elses opinion. I USED to have a friend that I was close too and did a lot with. Fast forward a long story you probably don't want to hear. I hadn't talked to her in months until I got engaged. All of a sudden she is texting, calling and planning outtings. She has asked everyone but me who is in my wedding party. How do I nicely tell her she is not in it?

    Just don't say anything. But make sure you say nothing because if you slip and say she is in it then she is.

    I agree with everyone else, she will eventually figure it out.

    And, don't feel pressured to include her now that's she has come back onto the scene, as you said yourself - she 'used' to be your friend.

    Agreed with PP. Plus this is probably obvious, but if you do hang out with her don't bring up wedding talk so you don't get stuck in an awkward situation.

    Don't discuss any wedding details with her, especially those involving your attendants.  She'll get the hint, but don't lay it out why she isn't in your party.  You've chosen - done deal.
