    We were referring to all the 2nd wedding vow renewals people keep talking about on these boards.  There's a link to it on one of these pages.  I'm all for your parents vow renewal, and a little upset I didn't get an invite to see Elvis.

    I saw a post two pages back (LC, maybe?) who doesn't see the point of renewals as "vows don't expire."

    However, I am of the school of thought that doesn't care if you get married every year.  I love a good party.  I will always be open to eat and drink on someone else's dime.  It just doesn't work me up.

    Nor do honeymoon registries. 

    With all the things in my life that I have to worry about, one's second wedding or honeymoon registry just doesn't rate on my pearl clutching scale.

    I don't have nice dishes but that doesn't stop me for paying for someone else's.

    I also don't care if you have a dollar dance (or the chicken dance, for that matter).  I don't care if you do a bouquet and garter toss.  I don't care if your registry card comes in your invitation.  I guess I'm just not bothered by most things. 

    The only things that are annoying to me are cash bars or receptions and weddings that are far apart.

    I know some of it is bad etiquette, but it just doesn't really bother me.

    Damn, I totally thought we were gonna get a smack down in that ML post.  Instead it was just a bunch of people pissed off at someone who never came into the thread Yell  Don't get me wrong, I feel bad for her and I think her friends sucks, but I was hoping for some nestie on nestie action.

    And ya'll, if we're doing vow renewals, I need one.  It's been 8 years, my sheets need replacing and I don't want to buy my own.
