  • Hey Tide!

I stil like it. I really enjoy Munroe, the sidekick, and I want to find out what's the deal with the police chief.
  • Hey Sarah!  How is Sparky doing?  Running you ragged yet?

  • I liked Monroe too, but the lead character was kind of flat for me.  I guess it had pretty stiff competition with Once Upon a Time, which, I find to be far more interesting.

I think Grimm is getting better and better.  There is a new plot line that started really developing this past episode involving Nick's family and I am really curious as to where it will go.  I won't give it away though since Nates hasn't seen it yet.

  • Once Upon a Time is definitely faster paced than Grimm.  I feel like we know so little about the whole Grimm thing still, but I enjoy all the weird murders and creatures.  I like that there are two, very different fairy tale shows out right now.
  • Hmmm.  Maybe I'll start watching it again.  I think it's OnDemand.  I really liked "Touch" and "Awake," too, but I stopped watching those as well.  It seems that I don't enjoy watching shows that make my brain work too much.

He is such a joy, and mostly because he's not mobile yet. He rolls everywhere, but he got tired of face planting, so he won't even lean over from sitting to get to all fours anymore. He will be completely out of toys and would rather sit there and play with his own toes than reach all the way over to get one. <div>
</div><div>Yesterday we had a longish drive, and he played peekaboo with himself in the backseat for at least 15 minutes. It was so cute. He'd close his eyes and be really still, and then open them and laugh out loud and waive his arms like it was the funniest thing ever. It was so CUTE! I couldn't help but laugh with him. </div><div>
</div><div>I can't believe your kiddos are so big! Did Teagan get the hang of walking? I remember she was content to not crawl for a while. </div>

  • I wanted to watch both of those, Tide, but never got around to it. The good thing about Grimm is it's the only show (that I watch, at least) that has the entire season on demand, so you can start wherever.

    LP, I'm watching it now!

<div>That was pretty funny. We have an unofficial policy in peds research to never ask fathers for the child's medical history. A few will know it but they're a rare find.  </div>

I bet. DH would know, but he's a facts and figures kind of guy. He remembers numbers really well. MY dad, though, would have been like the dad in the blog.

So cute!  Teagan was never motivated by toys, but she'd crawl through hell and highwater to get a puff or cheerio!

Whenever Tristan gets to the threshhold of a room, you can usually yell, "TRISTAN!"  and he'll stop, sit up, look at you, and then usually go somewhere else.  If Teagan is going from one room to another (that she's not supposed to go) and you yell, "TEAGAN" she hightails it without even looking back!  It's made all the funnier by her fat butt and chunky legs (she's built like mommy.  Poor girl.)

Tristan took his first unassisted steps this week, and takes more and more each day.  Teagan is crusing on furniture, but doesn't want to let go.  We're so screwed.

  • That is too funny about Teagan. She is a character, I bet! If we ever get to VA to visit my grandparents, we are going to have to have a GTG. I need to see these cute kiddos and you of course) in person.

And may the universe be kind to you when they start walking. I hope you have lots of gates up everywhere. You could always tie them together and make them live like conjoined twins. That should slow them down for a little while ;)

I know!! I also have an irrational fear of things hiding under my bed, which this episode did NOT help.

Seriously. I can't tell you how many times I snatch my hand orfoot from the edge of the bed before something can get it. I'm going to be snuggling H tonight for sure :P
  • Also, I have this dress the rich wife is wearing, lol.  That's awesome.

<div>Good plan!  I do the same thing.  Sometimes my feet get hot so I take them out from under the covers for a minute, but I can never fall asleep like that.  Feet must be securely under the covers, away from the edge of the bed.  </div><div>
</div><div>I'm also irrationally afraid of someone hiding in my closet at night.  The scariest moment of all of the Saw movies for me is in Saw 1 where the guy was hiding in the little girl's closet. I could handle all of the blood, guts and gore, but not the closet part.  </div>
