  • Oh, so today these kids (18-21 years old?) pulled up next to me at a red light and were blowing me kisses. They told me to roll down my window. I regretted it immediately when the one kid yells, "you're a MILF!" Feck, I felt so awfully old! Depressing.
  • Once it seemed like a really good idea to hop a fence and go skinny dipping at 3am in a public pool in Toronto. I don't think I need to elaborate.
  • I've had quite a few "WTF" moments in the kitchen.  I had this fabulous peanut chicken dish at a restaurant and thought I'd copycat it.  It didn't turn out well.  Thing is, I'm generally really good in the kitchen.

I once decided I would ride a horse that wasn't completely broken bareback, I ended up getting thrown, nearly impaled by a fence post and a broken tail bone.  I still have  a scar that looks like I used to have a tail?!

I got sloshed one night during college and decided I'd burn all the old pictures of myself, I was a pageant girl for 17 years and a little bitter about it so I decided destroying all the evidence was a smart thing.  Looking back it might have been nice to have had a few of those pics left, just so people would really believe I was in pageants and fairly successful at it! haha

  • While I was living in New Zealand, I went on a day road trip to the southermost point of the south island by myself (I was there for a limited time so every minute I wasn't working I tried to explore the islands)...well I had just been getting over bronchitis and the car I rented had to have been from the 80's or early 90's.

On my drive back to Dunedin the car lost traction on the road and I ended up flipping it down a steep hill (some might call it a cliff, but it had grass on it so I'm calling it a hill!). Not 100% sure what happened because one second I was driving on the road and the next the car is flipping down the hill.

A farmer's deer fence caught the car before it hit the bottom (a couple hundred more yards down), which inadvertantly saved my life. I ended up only having a bruise on my neck from where the seatbelt had hit.

I definitely shouldn't have been driving by myself in a foreign country, especially after JUST having gotten over being really sick and bedridden (not to mention should have asked for a newer car - the car had already seen many better days).

  • I got driven home on the hood of a car once.  Then again, I was passed out, so that part wasn't exactly my stupid decision, but still.  (it was only like 5 houses down the street though).
