Well, I'm still here

Re: Well, I'm still here

  • Thanks Kelly.  I bookmarked that.
  • I like morning sex when it is the weekend---would never be able to do it during the weekdays. But neither would J. He won't wake up on a weekday until like 10 min before he has to leave, haha.

  • H doesn't care what time we have sex as long as we have sex. I still have at least 3 more weeks before we can have sex again.

Dinner was awkward. There were several awkward silence moments. She is now feeding Edmund and just being overall frustrating. I really enjoyed my margarita.

  • How long is she staying Ciara?

Oh and H knows better than to try and wake me up at 4:30 or 5am when he gets up for work.  I'm usually awake with his alarm anyways, but definitely not in the mood for sex.  And I have been known to tell him yes on occasion as long as I can sleep through it.  Haha he never takes me up on that though.

  • At least you survived Ciara.  Sorry you're having a rough time with her.
  • I really don't think I could ever sleep through sex.

I just watched about 15 Adele performances on YouTube.  Worth it.

  • I'd definitely say that was worth it, KK. I re-watched Idol from this past week, probably just to torture myself since Haley got voted off. *shakes fist at injustice*

  • I didn't watch this week.  I normally just fast forward to all the performances, but the results were out before I even got a chance to watch it, and I was bitter about Haley as well.  She wasn't my favorite, but I think she is better than the other 2.  I hope Lauren wins of the 2 of them.  I kinda thought from the beginning that she would win because she was the most likely to fill the pop star image.

  • Oh nooooo Musical!! I did so good to avoid finding out!  H comes home tomorrow and we always watch it together Yell

  • Sorry KK.  I don't know how you wait that long.  I can't even wait until the results show comes on here.  At 6pm I'm always googling to see who got kicked off.  I do that with the Bachelor and any other reality shows too.

  • She leaves tomorrow. Thank god she got a hotel room and is not staying with us because I might kill her.

I am in absolute infatuation with Haley and her voice, haha. I love that she has the confidence to be a true rock star too. I shouldn't have been surprised that she got voted off since country fans are notorious for being the very dedicated and intense voting fan base. But even still, she (Haley) sang three super difficult songs, and all of which were before the "time" of most voters (in the younger category). And then the other two are teenagers and sang current (for the most part) country songs. I think Scotty is going to win, based on the young rabid girl fan base. heh.

I think Lauren would fit MUCH better with pop music in more of a Kelly Clarkson vibe, I do not think her country voice is strong enough to stand out.

  • I don't mind being spoiled on TV shows most of the time but I don't go out looking for it either.

I'm sorry KK! :( I got it ruined for me too since I didn't watch it live, because of twitter/FB status updates.

Idol has been our "thing" for the six years we've been together, so we always watch it when he gets home on Sunday or Monday.  We never find out on purpose, and if we accidentally find out, we don't tell each other we know until afterward.  Occasionally I'll hear it on the news or TK like tonight, but I usually am able to avoid it.  H usually finds out on accident, because it's always on the front page of the USA Today delivered to his hotel rooms.

ETA:  I also avoid FB like the plague on Thursday night.

  • Ok ladies. I'm off to bed to read and relax. Goodnight!

P.s. I bought and finished Bumped today. yeah, eh.

  • WTF, clearly it is just the day for annoying arguments for me on here.  I think I need to just give up.

KK I made LVB feel really bad one night because she posted on FB abuot Paul getting kicked off, and I commented saying "thanks for spoiling it for me."  I had already looked it up anyways though, so I felt bad that i made her feel bad.

  • Aw that is super cute that you watch it together, KK. I feel badly that I ruined it for you. :( I got a little sick to my stomach when Ryan pointed out that Lauren was 6 when she started watching Idol. I can't believe that.

  • Goodnight Ggirl.  Yep I felt the same way about the book.  The discussion will be interesting.

  • Goodnight GG!

I usually don't mind spoilers for reality shows but hate them for other tv shows, for some reason.

  • Hahaha, I have a cousin in Seattle and my family members have ruined it for her several times now too.

And OMG I'm pretty sure I was already in college when Idol premiered.  Wait, is this season 9 or 10 now?  I started college in 2002.  Was I in college?

It is season 10, I think. It started in 2002 so yes you were in college or at least about to start college (I think it was a summer season for the first season). I was right about to start HS.

  • You just read the book, and the discussion for it is on March 31st.  Easy book club.

We narrowed it down to 4 books and voted, and Bumped won.  I was definitely not a fan.  TBH, I would say save your $10 and wait until next month.  But some people liked the book, so it's your call.  I would offer to lend it to someone, but of course it's not a loanable book.

  • Haha, thanks for keeping me straight.  I thought so.

OK, time for me to AW baby Adam's latest picture:

Do you mean May 31st DNB? I may do next month's book club since now I will actually have time to READ things that aren't school books! This is a great revelation.
