How BSC does that sound? "How did he propose???" "Well, we were looking at a venue for the wedding, and he gave me the ring!"

I get that you tell all pre planners the same thing. I understand that , although I did explaine that my FI was ok with all plans and said go ahead and was involved in the whole process.
I'm currently also trying to enroll in nursing school in the fall. Pre-planning was getting quotes and date options, having less to do later for the purpose of school. But I'm not gonna bother to get into all that again .

I dont care one way or another who likes my ring. I rather enjoyed that I was still a topic of conversation weeks later.

If i wanted drama I'd wacth Young and the Restless.

Well i still stand on the fact its NOT bsc since I was not acting alone and all plans were done with my FI..

Since I am engaged now , I see no need to be on a NEY board and be rude to people who ask questions about not being engaged and telling people I do not know that they are crazy .

And now I'm gone...

<div>I'm guessing you aren't really gone, so I'll say this: you were BSC if you were planning a wedding while not engaged, even if your SO said it was ok. If you and your SO were planning a wedding together, then you were engaged before he ever put that ring on your finger. Quid pro quo. Or QED (I always mix those up).</div>

The reason we get on people for pre-planning is b/c it reflects a certain lack of maturity and perspective -- it tends to indicate a person who is more about appearances and other people than their relationships or SOs.

This proposal story only lends credence to that opinion.
