Yeah, those are three differnt topics - thought I'd save space and get them all done at once.

Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to TK. I've only posted a few times but never on the NC board. I've just recently gotten engaged and we're not getting married until April 2012. We're waiting that long so my FI can finish school. However, I'm finding out that I already need to start planning? I thought the long engagement would afford me time to plan well but I'm already stressing. A little bit.
We've done a ton of research online and have a list of venues to look at. However, the Victorian Villa Inn is on the top of our list. It seems to be the best fit for us and the kind of wedding we want to have. However, I have a question for the girls who have gotten married there or are getting married there... How was the communication with them? I know they're extremely busy but I've had a hard time getting in contact with them. I had to call several times and email before getting a response. I only left one voicemail and sent one email because I didn't want to be a pain but I did call several times as well. My first response from them was that my date was already booked! I couldn't believe it... that far out. I asked them to double check and they did come back and say that they had two dates left and mine was one of them. I've asked to make an appointment to go look at it and get a quote but now I'm waiting to hear back again. I don't know what I'm doing! I've never even helped someone plan a wedding before... I don't want to be a pest but if it's "the place" I don't want to risk losing it. How do I handle this situation?
And that leaves me with another dilemma. If I can get it, I'm nervous about booking a place so soon without much time, if any, to look at other places. I'm afraid I'll book it because I love it and I don't want to lose it but with so much time, I'll find something I like more.
I'm not totally freaking out... yet!

But I would really appreciate some advice/suggestions.
Thank you so much!!
Amy
Ps... Sorry for such a long post!
