Good morning, well I guess afternoon ladies! I am going to have a late day at work today - I will be there til 10pm, ugh.

LaFemme & Marburs - that's so exciting about your shower this weekend! All I know about mine is that it is May 29th somewhere in Harrisburg, they won't tell me anything else and its killing me, lol I also am having another shower in Pittsburgh in June thrown by my FMIL which I'm nervous about because it will be me and all his family members and I don't really like to be the center of attention to begin with. But its really nice that she is going out of her way to throw me a shower so I don't want to sound ungrateful!

Marburs - I like the first dress the best too! It fits you so well! Where did you find it?

LaFemme - I'm happy to announce I made my first Gilt purchase yesterday, lol. I check everyday b/c its so much fun!

GMC - I am in the process of switching careers as well, its very scary! I have an interview for graduate school for a Physician's Assistant in Tampa in May. I am nervous b/c I will have to go to school full time and we will be living off of just one income but I think in the end it will be the best decision. How far along are you in the classes? How long do you think it will be before you get your degree?

Kim - I LOVE to scrapbook too but its taken a back seat lately due to wedding plannig, applying for schools and work but I hope I can start it back up after July!

kime - it is VERY scary! I currently have a good job... I'm just not happy at all! I started classes in the Fall (so this summer will be my 3rd semester, but I'm only taking 2courses/semester...) I'm anticipating that I'll be able to do my student teaching next fall (2011) and then graduate by December 2011... by then we'll be married so with FI's job, at least I'll have heath care while student teaching!!! GL with your interview in May!! Hope all goes well! Obviously you'd have to move to Tampa right? FI and I are going to move to FL (hopefully in Jan 2012) after I graduate from grad school and I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!

Oh LaFemme I love that dress! Yeah I'm worried a little bit about my shower, not so much on the planning front but the invitations haven't gone out yet and its May 29th which is over a holiday weekend too. But oh well I'm sure they'll get it all together and I know its hard b/c my BMs are all over the east coast from FL, SC, PA, NJ!

GMC - yeah we'd be moving to FL if I get in and decide to go there. I've also applied to programs in Savannah, GA, Virginia Beach, VA and the Pittsburgh area. We currently live in MD but my sister lives in Boca Raton, FL. I also like to think of myself as sort of a nomad type - I like to move and travel to different places. All of the programs start next Jan. (2011) so that's when we'd make the big move. I like being an Athletic Trainer its just the hours and pay aren't conducive to having a family or a life outside of work really so I think this will be a much better direction for us. Luckily, FI is a physical therapist and can find a job pretty much anywhere!

kime- that is scary... I would ask them to involve you more? It is hard to plan showers tho- especially with BMs that dont live around each other. The last shower I planned the MOH and I ended up doing EVERYTHING- I really think it was just because we lived close together. I think the issue with mine is that I don't have a MOH, so noone really knows who should be planning it. But decision on my part I guess...

Yeah, hopefully I'm surprised. I just emailed a BM about everyone's concerns and she was like 'dont worry- its under control'. So that makes me think that they are really secretly organized and just like giving me anxiety! lol. Either way- I'm really excited about it!!

oh- and all those dresses are from Macys. I'm going back tomorrow, so stay tuned! lol

Wow! Long post! I feel like I missed it all because my pizza party was during my lunch today. Sara-I like the first dress alot! Jenn-you're dress is super cute. Enjoy your showers! Mine is the weekend after yours:-)
G-I am an elementary/special ed teacher. If you ever need any ideas let me know! I got my masters in both as well!
