Bachelorette Party - at a dude ranch?

So I joking was saying I wanted to go to a duderanch sometime after the premier of that show modern family...so now my MOH is looking into a bacherette party weekend at a dude ranch.  Um, I was sort of thinking Vegas, but the ranch would be totally funny...  Has anyone done this before?  Is this a terrible idea?  Plus I am getting married in January, so outside anywhere will probably be freezing...

    Don't worry about it. Its not your party to plan. Just enjoy and make sure to dress appropriately for the weather :)

    i am totally jealous! it sounds fun and is not the normal bachelorette party. I prefer experiences like that to paryting in vegas though. I am sure whatever your girls come up with will be fabulous. relax and enjoy not having another thing to plan!

    I would LOVE dude ranch party.

    FI and I actually talked about honeymooning at one!
