[QUOTE]I have a completely unrelated questions regarding the Olympics. 1. Why do the divers get into that little pool thing after they dive? 2. What are those patches they wear on their backs, etc?

• To think that some of AYG was about how boring the boards have been lately...ironic, eh?

I need to dress and head to school...I also just dropped my lighter in the dog's water bowl. It's a sign...

• Edie used to be okay, and then she turned crazy. Last week it was evident, especially with the whole "nobody should get shitfaced drunk at their b-party". News flash Edie, puke happens.

That was so fucked up. Now she's banning people for no reason? IDGI.

I wonder if physio tape will help me with my hip flexor. I have to go to physio. Not sure if this half marathon is going to happen :( boo! My brother did his IT band in (iron man next week too) and wears that stuff on his knee daily. He says it helps a lot.

• I'm getting really annoyed with a certain utility I've been working with as a favor to a CW on vacation. She couldn't get a hold of this individual there via e-mail, phone or fax and neither can I. I just got off the phone with general customer service and they couldn't even get a hold of anyone in his entire department. He sent an e-mail to the individual and his supervisor with my phone number, but I'm not holding my breath I'll get a phone call any time soon.

That did come off as rather judgy. Not that I get shitfaced drunk at my b-party but it has been known to happen on occasion on a random Friday or Saturday night.

• Wow, Midge, that is really annoying. Does anyone actually do any work in that department?

I have no idea. I don't even work in the department my CW does (no one in this office does) so I'm hoping if they do call, they just give me what I need without asking a ton of questions I can't answer. I know enough to do what she asked but not a ton of background, y'know? I feel like a jerk trying to contact him over and over again if he's working on it, but neither of us have received any form of contact back and this job is past due.

We've all been there. My Tuesday Knit Night turned into Tuesday-Impromptu-Coed-Beer-Fest. These things just happen.

• Morning all, whew, sliding into my morning, meetings, meetings, meetings! First chance I have had to come out and play.

I am going to the zoo today, blowing a half day off work and enjoying Pete and Repeat. Birthday weekend, here I come.
• Aw, I love the Zoo! I haven't been to the zoo when it's actually warm for too long. Have fun Ski! Love the new sig too.
• Sometimes I hate working in a cube. So many people are talking at once right now in their respective areas and I just want a door and floor to ceiling walls to shut them all out. arhgh.

[QUOTE]I was actually pleasantly surprised I didn't get sick at my bachelor party. There were lots of tequila shots that night. And yea, if I had, I know my MOH or somebody would have held my hair back. Vomit hair is gross. The worst I did was rip my dress and then attempt to carry a beer home in my purse that..y'know...spilled in my purse because it's dumb to put a full bottle in there.

We always knew you were a man in his underwear in a basement :)

And re: bottle in purse, my mom had a friend who was so drunk one night she tried putting her margarita in her purse. Epic fail.

tee hee, skidmark is really a BOY!
• I've only gotten sick once from drinking and I never want to experience that again. It was also at my MIL/FIL's house after a wedding, before we were married, so that was fun...
• Musu, I hear you. I hate working at the front entrance of the building. There was literally a guy talking so loudly to one of my coworkers that I could not hear the person I was on the phone with. I don't think he had an inside voice.

• I am in the club that if I do drink to much, someone holding my hair is quite nice! H has done it twice for me in the 4 years we have been together. Both very early on in the relationship when I thought I could keep up with the boys, at the beach, from midafternoon into evening.

I saved all my drinking for the actual wedding. I'm actually suprised that I did not spill anything on my dress because I apparently was carrying a full drink around on the dance floor and getting pretty jiggy with it. There is a pretty funny picture of me getting dirty with H on the dance floor with a full drink in my hand. In retrospect, probably not appropriate behavior in front of the ILs, family, and co-workers.
